Is it just me, or is this link not working anymore / has the Ham Radio

I have already spent a bunch of time searching around through this

Henry,
It is not working here, but I personally never tried it prior to this either.
So I do not have a reference to know if it ever worked for me.

[Drakelist] Anti-Corona Paint

2011-12-25 Thread Eddy Swynar
A Good Christmas Day, All...

Many thanks to all who responded to my query re. GLYTAL anti-corona paint...

Based upon some of the tips that I received, I'm going to contact the local
automotive shops in the coming week to see if they might sell the stuff in
small quantities---and if worse comes to worst, I guess I can always press my
daughter's finger-nail polish into service!

Hi Lee:

It might work...but then again...

It is all Lacquer based...I use a lot of dope..on models. I'm not sure
if the HV stuff has any additives in it to make it more dielectric or not.

I do know that the newer transformer insulating varnish isnt varnish at
all but a form of epoxy. I guess it depends on what you are asking the
coating to do.

[Drakelist] T-4X relay

2011-12-25 Thread y...@aol.com
Just bought the T-4x and have not looked at it yet. The seller mentioned that
he pulled the open relay and replaced it with a enclosed relay he had and also
said the PTT circuit was now 12 vdc. Looking at the schematic, looks like the
original was 6 volt on the PTT. I will likely change things back to where they
were,is the original relay aviable from a vendor? anyone have a #? is there a
covered reley that would work or ever a small pc board that would allow a plug
in?
thanks

Ken,
Thanks so much for those links. I had been looking for a source of similar
brushes, and the D-100L small bottle so I could meet the minimum sales, and MCM
seems to have all the things I have been looking for. I bought from them for
years when I was in the school business, not sure why I don't think of them
more often for my private purchases.
