I must have missed the message from Thom that changed the governance of this list to a democracy. Since he is providing the server free of charge I think he is the one that gets to decide what can and can not be posted on this list...or did I miss something there? 73 Jim Pruitt On 10/26/2012 at 5:08 AM, k4...@comcast.net wrote: I've got to agree with Jim!!! 73, Ariel, k4aal On 10/25/2012 9:10 PM, Jim Shorney wrote: OK, so who wants to spank me for asking for a Gonset knob here? :) 73 -Jim (found one elsewhere, BTW) NU0C On Fri, 26 Oct 2012 01:59:39 +, Hudson, John@CalEMA wrote: Jim the beauty of the Drake list, as you know, is that it's all about Drake's and nothing else. Jim really? We've had guys unsubscribe in the past over actions and comments like this. Of course Thom has the final say but the reason this group is so cool and not cluttered is the focus. Is it too much to ask for the list to continue its charter of being the Drake list? There are many HAM lists to use, this is the what list? [Drakelist] non drake item posting
hi I must have screwed up when I attempted a reply to all these negative replies I have received on my recent posting. so here it is again, I apparently sent it to ron in error. this was a very frustrating situation. sorry guys that I raised so many feathers here. was not aware of any restriction on posting. thought it was drake and ham related items. I know I have posted non-drake items in the past with no negative feedback on it. when did this change occur? thanks and 73's joe n4je ___ Drakelist mailing list Drakelist@zerobeat.net http://mailman.zerobeat.net/mailman/listinfo/drakelist
