Hello Oscar, This seems like an encoding issue. You need to set email encoding to utf-8. Hello All, I have been trying to upgrade from 3.2 to 4 as well and all goes well with the build. But not able to access the web page. It says Requested resource not available. I have copied the web application to tomcat/webapps. I even tried to deploy from Tomcat manager but no luck there as well. Any pointers? [Dspace-tech] Upgrade to 1.7.3
Hi folks, I've upgraded from 1.5.2 to 1.6.2 smoothly. Then I've tried to migrate to 1.7.3 and it was a pain almost I lost my dspace... I've read about maven issue, I've tried with both maven 3.1.1 and 2.2.1 but it fails. I'd want to upgrade to dspace 3.2 but first I have to pass throgh 1.7.x , what should I do? I've read that 1.7.2 puts the directories properly. What should I do? Can I upgrade to 1.7.2 and then to 1.8.3? Hi Sergio, I would move directly from 1.5.2 to 3.2, if that's your ultimate goal. It's probably not worth your time to bring up any of the versions in between. The 3.2 source code will contain scripts to update the database through the various versions, and each one needs to be run.
