[Dx4win] UA9S ans UA9W
I looked in my log and found that all my UA9S and UA9W calls dated from 1979 through 1988 have ZONE 16. These calls were worked when I was using the old WJ2O logging program. They are verified by qsl cards. Dick KS0M Richard C. Hi Folks, I just down loaded the latest version of DX4WIN 6.03. I noticed that the DX4WIN.TCP file has the wrong node address for my node. The correct line should be: NA2NA>Niskayuna-NY,na2na.net The old address works with out the port 7300 NA2NA>Niskayuna-NY,na2na.homedns.org Any questions, please ask TNX Will NA2NA na2na.net An AR-Cluster Node 146.93 RF in the Albany, NY area. [Dx4win] QSL Label Printing Speed
Does anyone know a trick of two for speeding up the printing of pages of QSL labels? I'm using Avery 5160's and it takes F O R E V E R to spool the print job and eventually print. It looks beautiful on my parallel port HP laser 4MP, but it is S L O W. Any trick to that? This under Windows 2000 and DX4WIN 6.02 and 6.03 I *do* download softfonts. 73, Byron

[Dx4win] Setting LoTW Upload/Date/Cnf
I'm trying to set the Upload and Upl Cnf QSO fields to Y along with an Upload date in 6.03. I entered F8 and chose a group number to select all QSO's from one past callsign. Then I selected Labels > Export for LoTW. Entered a name for the ADIF file and answered yes to the prompt to use active filter. I repeated the above for all other groups in the log. I successfully uploaded to LoTW all ADIF log files after signing and creating TQ8 files. However, Upload and Upl Cnf are marked with N and the Upload date is blank for all QSO's (they are not marked ignore). Since all QSO's were still marked as not uploaded, I tried again. This time I selected F8 and entered 01/01/1901 in the Upload Date, selected Labels>Export for LoTW, named the ADIF file and yes to use the active filter. Still no change in status of Upload, date, Cnf fields for all QSO's. I then tried Labels > Export for LoTW, named the file and exported without an active filter. Again upload still marked N for all QSO's. The Same Call Window has NN marked in the Conf column for all QSO's. What am I missing? 73, Bud W3LL [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[Dx4win] Bug exporting ADIF for 222 MHz (1.25m)
You need to do a manual edit: 1.2m should change to 1.25m The number after the colon is the field with. [1.2m] is 4 letters. [1.25m] is 5 letters. You'll have to edit the ADIF file after exporting it. Paul will need to fix this in DX4WIN. 73 - Jim AD1C At 07:32 AM 5/26/2004, Cal Kutemeier wrote: >I am having the same problem. Follow the Country File link on this page: http://www.ad1c.com/dx4win/ Reading the paragraph beginning with IMPORTANT: "IMPORTANT: The ZIP file contains two prefix files: DX4WIN.CTY which has new prefixes that match the ARRL DXCC Award Credits Listing, and DX4WIN.OLD that has the original DX4WIN prefixes. You should use DX4WIN.OLD only if you want to check your log for errors (see Analyzing country file differences below). If you do chose to use the country file with the new prefixes, and you are filtering packet spots by country, make sure the country prefix(es) in the packet preferences match(es) the prefix(es) in the country file." I am having the same problem. I did searches on the help file and user guide and could not find out how to increase the field # by 1 as suggested below within the DX4WIN program. Can this be done within the DX4WIN program, or is this suggestion related a manual edit of the resultant ADIF file? My question relates to past QSOs and QSOs to be logged in the future.
