[Dx4win] MMTTY

2006-02-03 Thread Richard Zalewski
MMTTY works fine stand alone and with Writelog. I have not been
successful in getting it to run in the MMTTY window in DX4Win.
Program opens fine but no receive or transmit and shortly after
opening the Task Manager reports the program to be not responding.

Tried to send a attachment with RTTY preference page but reflector
would not accept it.

Subject: [Dx4win] Importing state info from N1MM?
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi,

In the recent CQ160m CW contest I used N1MM logger and now I need to
import the file to Dx4win. Only problem is that I can't get Dx4win to
import US State information from ADIF file generated by latest version
of N1MM. What do I have to replace in ADIF file and with what? Below you
can find two log rows from last weekend:

KC1XX 20060128 063303 NH
160M CQ160CW 1.82120 CW
599 599 OH6XX 5 370
NH 10 1
1
NQ4I 20060128 063419 GA
160M CQ160CW 1.82170 CW
599 599 OH6XX 5 372
GA 10 1
1

These were created with N1MM V6.1.10.

Dick,

Thanks, that did the trick. I knew it was something easy.

[Dx4win] VE7CC - DX4WIN

2006-02-03 Thread Bob Naumann - W5OV
It works well for me too.

I put an entry in my dx4win.tcp file of:

Local>AR-USER,127.0.0.1:7300

I also put a check in the Telnet checkbox on the Logging Program Connection
Port Setup in AR User.

When DX4Win starts, I right click in the packet window, click on Internet
connection, click on the Local entry, and click OK. And, it works.

I think one of the issues is getting it all to automatically start up with
DX4win. I have not done that.

Most of the time I just look at the VE7CC screen. I think it conveys plenty
of information itself. I really like the color coding of each band that you
can do.

George,

Don't give up. I use DX4WIN 7 and VE7CC. I have maybe missed the whole
thread, but are you just tring to use VE7CC from with DX4WIN? That's what I
do. However I have to start both programs seperatly. If it's a simple matter
of making VE7CC spots appear within DX4WIN, let me know I'll tell u how.

But as I said I have not read all the thread so maybe I missed the point??

OK I gave up!

Whatever combination I tried they would never talk to each other.

I have gone back to DX4WIN - DXTelnet and it works perfectly.

Just one "hotKey" and everything is go.

Maybe when I get to Windows Vista and DX4WIN version 8 I'll give it another
try.

My thanks to everyone who tried to help and offered suggestions.
