[Dx4win] Filter Selections Gone
I was going to create a new filter and inadvertently selected a blank selection from the Import/Export Window. I exited DX4WIN and reopened it. When I now select File - Import/Export Filter, I receive a message saying an Exception has occured and Grid is out of range . Hitting the OK button reveals the Import/Export filter window but there are NO filter selections at all. Now if I select LotW - Export to LOTW, another message is raised: Could not find ADIF filter How do I restore the standard set of Import/Export filters? ( I have current backups) 73 KS1J Jim __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] Filter Selections Not Gone
After a bit of further searching I restored DX4WIN.IEP and the filters were back. My backup version is dated Jan 26 2011 which I assume is the latest. 73 Jim - Original Message - From: Jim Bowman k...@arrl.net To: Dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Saturday, June 15, 2013 12:57 PM Subject: [Dx4win] Filter Selections Gone I was going to create a new filter and inadvertently selected a blank selection from the Import/Export Window. [Dx4win] CW keying in DX4WIN
need some help! I recently got DX4WIN 8.05 and microHam router 8.40 to use with new computer and win 7 of course this turns into a problem. with writelog and winkey it works great. But trying to key the 2000D this morning from DX4WIN it no longer works. it used to with XP and the older version. So anyone can share their preference settings in Dx4WIN and Micro router to get this working? I have tried everything but it just keys up continuously... sure would like to get my preset messages working in DX4WIN, I don't care if DX4WIN keys the rig or winkey, just want it to work! any advice? Re: [Dx4win] CW keying in DX4WIN
See the example configuration for DX4Win and MK II in Router (Help | Download Documents) or on-line www.microHAM-USA.com/support.html in the microKEYER II area. In all probability you are setting DTR = High in the radio set-up and telling Router to use the same port for CW and Radio. Follow the WinKey settings in the example. 73, ... Re: [Dx4win] TQSL1.14.1
If you want to use the new version with the way the old version used to work, select the 2nd option in 1.14 version. Notice that in file 1st option is sign and upload... and the 2nd one is sign and save... If you select the 2nd option you should upload manually. 73 Kostas SV1DPI Στις 15/6/2013 8:06 μμ, ο/η sm3dxc έγραψε: I am sorry to say, I was overreacted If I have a dataproblem, I be very frustarted !! Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Digest, Vol 110, Issue 16
That's kind of the idea - not asking people to worry about strangely named files like something.tq8. The File menu of TQSL now has two entries for handling log files. Sign and Upload allows you to supply an ADIF or CABRILLO log, sign it with your call, location, etc, and directly upload it to Logbook of the World. You're done at that point, other than waiting for QSLs to show up on LoTW. The second entry, Sign and Save, signs your log and creates a TQ8 file that you can upload to Logbook at your convenience. That works the same way it always did. We need to allow both Sign and Upload and Sign and Save because not everybody is connected to the Internet all of the time. If your logging computer is online, use Sign and Upload - let the computer do the work! The team working on improving TQSL is always looking for constructive comments and criticism. We want to make this work better for everyone.
