[Dx4win] 1A0 Soviet Order of Malta

2004-11-01 Thread Tony Lord
Dear John Paul,

It is 100% Sovereign, not Soviet. I believe it goes back to days when Malta
was in British Empire and was (the whole Island!) awarded the George Cross
for gallantry for their outstanding efforts and bravery during World War 2

Kind Regards
?
?

Has anyone else had a problem logging this one in.
I cannot find it on the countries list and am thinking I will
have to add that country.

Hi Todd,

Monitor size 19 or 17 is fine, either resolution is fine. No control
over printed form and therein lies the problem. I use the report in a folder
at
the desk to check. I don't always have the packet on and all initial logging
is
still done in the dead tree format.

[Dx4win] 1A0 Soviet Order of Malta

2004-11-01 Thread Alan C. Zack
I found it listed on the CTY list provided with the DX4WIN downloads
listed with the S countries as Sov. Mil. Order of Malta.
In a related question, as is, the country list is listed in
alphabetical order under the county's name in the right side column.
Can it be switched to be listed in order of the how the prefixes are
listed on the left column versus by country's name?

It was not on the list.
I went through the book and it worked just fine.
My country list did not have the 1A0 on the list.
That was my original problem, and I could not figure out
how to get credit for it.
 Thanks Again!

Try Sovereign - not Soviet. Just type 1A0 in the prefix box, and you
should have it. Or put the cursor in the prefix box and hit the F1 key.
Then S-O-V should be enough to get you to it.

Subject: [Dx4win] Report Improvement Suggestion
Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

After checking for new countries/modes/bands/zones worked the day after CW
WW SSB was over, I suddenly realized that there is a possible improvement
to the report function of DX4WIN.

I'd love to see the M for Mailed changed to S for Sent. When
scanning a report to check to see if the QSL has been Mailed, it is very
hard to discern an M from a W. Given that the LOTW option allows you
to Send a card electronically, rather than Mail it, it also makes sense
from this perspective. I already have trifocals.and I doubt THAT will
improve! ;-)

Thanks for considering

Is that Sovereign Order, or Soviet Order? The Soviets have been history
for some time now, haven't they? 73, Frank, WB2BXO
