[Dx4win] 1A0 Soviet Order of Malta
I found it listed on the CTY list provided with the DX4WIN downloads listed with the S countries as Sov. Mil. Order of Malta. In a related question, as is, the country list is listed in alphabetical order under the county's name in the right side column. Can it be switched to be listed in order of the how the prefixes are listed on the left column versus by country's name? john paul wrote: > OK, > I had to go to page 112, and add the prefix and the country. > It was not on the list. > I went through the book and it worked just fine. > My country list did not have the 1A0 on the list. > That was my original problem, and I could not figure out > how to get credit for it. > Thanks Again! > JohnPaul/AB4PP > - Original Message - > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Sunday, October 31, 2004 8:12 PM > Subject: Re: [Dx4win] 1A0 Soviet Order of Malta > > > Try "Sovereign" - not Soviet. No control over printed form and therein lies the problem. I use the report in a folder at the desk to check. I don't always have the packet on and all initial logging is still done in the dead tree format. 73, Bob K2TK

Dear John Paul, It is 100% Sovereign, not Soviet. I believe it goes back to days when Malta was in British Empire and was (the whole Island!) awarded the George Cross for gallantry for their outstanding efforts and bravery during World War 2 Kind Regards ? ? I'd love to see the "M" for "Mailed" changed to "S" for "Sent". When scanning a report to check to see if the QSL has been "Mailed", it is very hard to discern an "M" from a "W". Given that the LOTW option allows you to "Send" a card electronically, rather than "Mail" it, it also makes sense from this perspective. I already have trifocals.and I doubt THAT will improve! ;-) Thanks for considering Joe WD?M

Is that "Sovereign Order," or "Soviet Order?" The Soviets have been history for some time now, haven't they? 73, Frank, WB2BXO - Original Message - From: "john paul" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: "dx4win" Sent: Sunday, October 31, 2004 8:30 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] 1A0 Soviet Order of Malta OK, I had to go to page 112, and add the prefix and the country. It was not on the list. I went through the book and it worked just fine. My country list did not have the 1A0 on the list. That was my original problem, and I could not figure out how to get credit for it. Thanks Again!
