Packet/RTTY window shows all spots

DX Spots window is a filtered version of it, dupes are eliminated, etc.

Honestly, I did not know you can do that. But it does work.

I guess the differences it that when using the RTTY window as you
describe, the DX Spots window is not active in this configuration.
I.e. you don't get the benefits of DX4WIN filtering the spots to tell
you which ones are needed.

Re: [Dx4win] Using Telnet

2008-06-24 Thread Paul Ferguson
In addition to having RTTY set to Type=Regular and Port=TCP/IP, I have Packet 1
Cluster Interface set to Type=Regular and Port=TCP/IP. For this setup you can
go to the RTTY Window and request Internet connection, and spots will be
filtered in the DX spots window.

Now that I know there is another way to do it, I will get rid of the RTTY
window and activate the Internet Connection through the Packet window.

[Dx4win] Using Telnet

2008-06-23 Thread wo2n

Hi,
A Ham friend of mine has downloaded the latest version.
He is trying to get the RTTY telnet to work. Can feature be used with demo
software?

I use an older version pre LOTW.
Tnx, 73, Bernie/WO2N.>

Right click in the packet window. Online help didn't mention that!

Thanks to all who responded.

I've used DX4WIN for years with TNC. Checked the online help for using Telnet
and changed Port to TCP/IP. I don't find the list of Telnet sites to connect
to. What am I missing? I use a Telnet connection with Writelog with no
problem.

73 and thanks...Fred/NA2U

I can't answer this as asked, but many things about using DXT with DX4WIN
(and WriteLog) can be found at www.qsl.net/wa9als/dxtelnet.htm 73
