[e-gold-list] Gold Age policy
Motto: You vouch for me, I vouch for you, and we both together steal from every sucker that will fall for our trick. Ragnar Dannerskjold, chief of Gold Age Graham Kelly, chief of I don't know what company It seems from the reply of Ragnar, that this is complete mockery for him. He is assured he has people (his personal butt-kissers) to back him in case of anything. I read now commentaries from a forum that is correct and does not have 5 or 6 clone e-mail addresses of Ragnar and his team subscribed. From 78 people who voted on the poll, only 12 considered Gold Age to be correct and trustful, 43 said Gold Age steals the money when the amount is higher than $1000, 14 said they GA steals the money if the amount is higher to $2000, and 9 said GA always steals the money (one-way funding: we got your money, ha ha, now we don't reply to any e-mail or phone call). Anyone who did a little research on Gold Age, will be amazed by the quantity of bad reviews they had from independent reviewers (who are not Ragnar's butt-kissers like Graham is, or his GDCA associates), and how many bad stories you can hear at any given time. Also their record with Better Business Bureau consists in 3 unanswered fraud complaints. All I can say: go on, use Gold Age, if you want the best customer service possible to convince you should send them your money, and then no reply from them at all. [e-gold-list] Gold-Age/PECB Legal Defense Fund account
http://www.e-gold.com/pub-bal.asp?pubid=280478 I've made the balance on Parker's legal defense fund publicly viewable, and positive. Parker is going to make a donation- page, but those of you who want to jump the gun might want to click grams directly to account 280478 the Gold-Age/PECB Legal Defense Fund. He's likely to also set up a bank account and trust fund to deal with this incident. A mailing address where we can snail him stuff is: Parker E.C. Bradley 4736 Onondaga BLVD PMB 220 Syracuse, NY 13219 I've heard it through the 'gram-vine' that one or more media- members may be sniffing around the story. I'm here to help, if so.* The attack on Parker should be seen in the context of his own words prior to the raid, IMO, and those words are still at: http://www.themestream.com/articles/310965.html?pid=00240101 Anyway, I've clicked him enough for a small, voice-activated tape recorder. Apparently, according to Parker, the transcript contains "creative writing" COUGHass-coverin'copsCOUGH! (pardon me, I seem to be catching something) and during our brief conversation I decided that such a device may come in handy, regrettably, considering behavior we've seen so far... Thanks in advance to everyone for help. JMR * Articles proofed for factual stuff are ALWAYS better-done, guys, and I can't exactly censor you anyway, so where's the risk of sending me a draft?? [e-gold-list] Gold-Age: Failure to Deliver (cont'd)
PECB, I do not recall writing that you stole my money. I stated that you charged my card and never delivered your product. That fact, and the fact that you did not respond directly to my request for information (did you receive the fax? do you need more information?), led me to wonder if you were indeed still in business. Why would I wait since October for the funds to appear? Simple, I trusted Gold-Age to do what they said they were going to do. You asked for information, I sent it and trusted that you would do what you said you would do. It seems the consumer in this "e-commerce" world cannot win in these circumstances. If I ask for information to soon, you complain that I must have patience while you fix your servers, or your database or your... (fill in the excuse de jour). If I wait, and have patience then the answer is that I should have charged back sooner. I fulfilled my responsibilities. I sent you all the faxes, emails, voice mails, with the correct info, including correct account number. It is you, Parker, who have not done what you said you would do. Why did I not charge back? I needed the money in my e-gold account not on my credit card, and I assumed that you would do what you said you would do. Now you tie up the lose ends by implying that it is I who am responsible for your failure. I sent you bad info or somehow or other "schmucked" things up. That is not what the communication trail shows. It is very simple, I have done everything you have asked for, exactly the way you have asked and still you have not done what you said you would do. One of your colleagues said that you are an honorable man, yet I am still waiting for you to do what you said you were going to do. [e-gold-list] Gold-Age: Fact Remains-No Delivery
Yes, I'm sure there are many satisfied Gold-Age customers. My point is that I have been given poor customer service by Gold-Age. A service has been paid for but the product was never delivered. I am aware of others from around the world who are also waiting on their money (even after meeting all of Mr. Bradley's requirments for information). The question becomes for you market makers who are on the edge of the e-commerce frontier, what level will you set as a standard for customer service. The fact remains, I purchased a product and it was never delivered. -Tracy Guss [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: archive@jab.org To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[e-gold-list] Gold-Age Sighting
Gold-Age, I've noticed that you are replying to messages on the e-gold forum. I assume then that you are not out of business. Can you respond to my repeated requests for information regarding past due payment from gold-age. Why have you not funded my account for the amount that you charged my credit card in October? When will you deliver the e-gold that I have paid you for? --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: archive@jab.org To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[e-gold-list] Gold-Age Help
I purchased a hefty amount of egold from Gold-Age back in October. The charge went through to my credit card, however the egold never showed up. --- begin forwarded text Date: Wed, 4 Oct 2000 05:07:45 -0400 (EDT) From: [EMAIL PROTECTED], LLC [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Subject: Gold-Age Notices This message is being sent to everyone who placed a credit card order (whether it was accepted or declined by Authorize.Net) with Gold-Age between 09/16 and 09/29, in order to address some questions we have received * Gold-Age has changed its rates and policies for credit card orders (and other payment vehicles) effective 10/01/2000. The service charge on orders placed before this date will not be affected. *Many who placed orders over $200 have inquired as to why their e-gold account is not yet funded. As per the policy on our website: there is an additional 7 day hold for CC orders over $200 * In order to better serve and protect our clients, Gold-Age has set up an exclusive Preferred Client website, accessable only by Preferred Clients. Some of the benefits of being a Preferred Gold-Age Client are faster service and lower rates. See our website for more info on becoming a Preferred Client (past clients of Gold-Age that qualify as preferred clients will receive an E-mail in the next day or two with instructions on setting up their User ID Password for access to the Preferred client pages and order forms), * Gold-Age was hit by over 5 million (USD )worth of fraudulent CC orders over the past week (and we're still investigating more). This significantly slowed our processing for a while, delaying orders that otherwise would have been funded 1 or 2 business days ago (this credit card fraud also almost resulted in the loss of our merchant processing accounts). We apologize for any inconvenience. We are back on track, with a new and improved service (baptism by fire!) and if your order is not subject to an additional hold it will be funded post-haste. Our new order policies and internal screening proceedures should make the majority fraudulent orders a less significant problem. Thank you for using Gold-Age. Regards, Parker E.C. [e-gold-list] Gold-Age Does _NOT_ Steal Money!
This message is in response to the copy of the message below that was posted to the list earlier today. GOLD-AGE DOES NOT STEAL MONEY While there is a problem with this person's wire transfer, and a couple of other people's wires (we're running a trace), the fault is not ours, but the screwy way bank wires work. It's surprising in this day age of e-commerce, but sending a bank wire is not like sending your buddy a FAX or E-mail; there is a surprising amount of human interaction, and therefore possiblities of error, in the system. Information for a particular wire and be copied and renetered (by hand) into the system 2 to 10 times before the final account is credited. The wire in question here was sent. So if the funds "evaporate" it's the fault of the intermediary bank or of the beneficiary bank. Also, we have sent several personal (not canned) replies to this person and have not received a response to them. Considering the amount of money involved, I'm suprised they haven't called or sent a FAX. This is especially disappointing, as Mr/Mrs Bulis feels free to make serious allegations in public about an honest hard working company without even taking the trouble to call us first. I can go on on, but I'll end here by Restating that GOLD-AGE HAS NOT STOLEN ANYONE'S MONEY! We work hard to meet our customers' needs and are contiuning to expand our offerings to make e-gold easier and more convenient to use. Regards, Parker E.C. Bradley President Gold-Age, LLC [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.gold-age.net P.S.: Due to frequent problems with international wire transfers (that piss-off customers and make us look bad) Gold-Age no longer exchanges e-metal for outgoing wires. Due to the nature of the bank wire system, we've experienced too many problems sending international wires. Usually it's due to the client sending incomplete, or incorrect information. But we've also identified serveral problem countries (or at least particular banks within those contries) that have consistently caused problems. As of 09/13/2000 these problem areas are Russia, Latvia, South Africa, Brazil and Argentina. If you need a wire transfer out of the e-gold system and do not wish to do it through OmniPay, we recommend that you give www.coconutgold.com a try. -- copy - Re: [e-gold-list] How Gold-Age stole our money Janis Bulis wrote: I am bringing this story to the public attention so anyone planing doing business with Gold Age will think twice or maybe even more times. They used to have a good reputation around here but it seems to be changing lately. On 08.01.00 we have transfered a good amount of e-gold worth couple of thousands dollars to Gold-Age account to have it "out-exchanged" via wire transfer - one of the services they say they offer. I also filled their online form on web page providing all necessary information. Their web site said that it may take a week for the wire transfer to arrive so I waited. After 10 day of no money I emailed them asking if there's a problem. No reply besides of automated email confirming that they received my email and will get back to me in up to 3 days, in the meantime they offered me their faq. 3 Days no reply, 5 days no reply. I emailed them again, same story - automated canned email, no other reply at all. That's how it goes until today, every couple of days (6 times by now) I am emailing them at any possible address I can get on their site, all I get is automated emails, which also proves that they do get my emails and my email address works fine too. I guess I am out of good money for now as they don't seem to care. So, if you are going to do any business with them then think twice. Once a reliable company now started stealing money, so you may be the next.
