Spend the summer in northern Minnesota and enroll in Field Biology at the University of Minnesota Itasca Biological Station and Laboratories. Courses start May 18th: - Ecology - Animal Behavior - Parasite and Disease Ecology - Field Mammalogy - Field Ornithology - Foundations of Biology II For more information: http://cbs.umn.edu/itasca/field-biology-program Non-U of M visiting students pay in-state tuition regardless of state of residence. Itasca courses are open to domestic or international undergraduate and graduate students of any accredited college or university, as well as to others with continuing education objectives, provided they are in good standing academically. Course credits are transferable to most colleges and universities. We welcome students from around the United States and the world. Instruction is in English, so competency in the English language is required.

We are accepting applications for our two research awards to support faculty or student research. 1) The Robert Estabrook Moeller Memorial Fund Research Fellow Award supports scholars conducting research on Lake Lacawac and other Pocono region lakes. Awards are generally $1000 - $1500 2) The Watres Student Award supports research by graduate and undergraduate students conducting projects at Lacawac. Awards are generally $300 - $700.
