RE: [Elecraft] re: Improvements for the KX1
A lot of PDFs are available that are not searchable. ALL the Elecraft PDFs (and any I produce too) are searchable. It's the only sane way to do it, but it's certainly not the only wayg. Thanks Dan - that's the first positive comment I've heard on the distribution of documents as PDF files. Even though they can be searched if they contain text and font information rather than a graphic image of text, I have only ever looked at a printed version if available. 73, Ian, G4ICV, AB2GR, K2 #4962 -- ___ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Joe, If you can figure out how to put them inside that already crowded enclosure (and still maintain it as a kit), then yes a 4 or 5 pole filter would be nice - BUT ... 73, Don W3FPR Joseph Trombino Jr wrote: I'd really like to see another xtal or two added to the KX1 I.F. filter3 poles just doesn't get it...the 4 pole filter in the K1 and 5 pole filter in the K2 are noticeably better than the 3 pole filter in the KX1. 73, Joe W2KJ ___ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list. The K2 has seven crystals in the IF filter. There are five before the IF amplifier and two more before the product detector.
