Just to further clarify, after lowering LO CUT to zero, the bottom two EQ bands have activated! Even so, it is indeed interesting that little energy exists at those low frequencies - even in an AM broadcast signal. This kind of EQ is a very powerful tool. I wish I had the free time to fully explore its impact on the various modes. Yes - I see the same thing. W5OV After the installation of the new Rev. D DSPUPG board, RX EQ bands 1 and 2 no longer function. It's like being back before the FW upgrade that activated those bands. I've sent a note to Elecraft support about this. Has anyone else noticed this? Yes I've loaded the newest FW revs. Twice. Please contact Elecraft support. As the designer of the DSP code, and of the DSP board itself, including the latest, I am 100% certain that Rx EQ 1 and 2 function no differently in the new board. Further, if you are using headphones, the the increase of coupling capacitor from 10 uF to 100 uF earlier this year improved the LF response on receive. Don't worry about it. I got tangled up in with the LO CUT settings. Something must have changed when I updated the firmware for the new board but I lost track of what it was!
