All the PMSMs I've seen generate somewhat flat topped sine wave BEMFs, this include 2 phase CPU fans (BLDC), AC servos, washing machine motors etc. For example the Parker motors we are using for 8I20 testing are specified for either trapezoidal drive or sinusoidal, they dont care... > > This guy from MIT has a lot of good info he has written on the subject > http://scolton.blogspot.com/ > > Specifically this paper here. > http://web.mit.edu/scolton/www/3phduo.pdf > Simulated waveforms... Re: [Emc-developers] Tool-Change
I've played with the toolchange script (the version which 'can jog during toolchange' with the abort/restart at line trick) I did a touchoff there and that works fine, including setting new Z and all the remaining problem is to get axis to recognize the result of the touchoff and redraw, reloading the ngc file does that but if you forget the movements are 'decoupled' from preview this problem would go away if axis had touchoff menus/buttons -m Am 10.11.2010 um 14:33 schrieb Andy Pugh: > This is probably a question for emc-users but relates to a > can-of-worms I don't really want to open there. [Emc-developers] Tool-Change
This is probably a question for emc-users but relates to a can-of-worms I don't really want to open there. (Yes, it's the old touch-off during toolchange question, prompted by a forum query) Is toolchange a "queue buster"? And, if the tool length offset is changed in the tool table between the M6 and the G43, which length is used in the subsequent moves? I am wondering if suggesting that integrating a tool-length probe into the toolchange sequence is sensible or not. -- atp -- The Next 800 Companies to Lead America's Growth: New Video Whitepaper David G. [Emc-developers] [ emc-Bugs-3106610 ] wrong movements on z-axis
Bugs item #3106610, was opened at 2010-11-10 13:32 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by cyberwoodman You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=106744&aid=3106610&group_id=6744 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: GUI - AXIS Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Taras Koroljuk (cyberwoodman) Assigned to: Chris Radek (cradek) Summary: wrong movements on z-axis Initial Comment: I press 'esc' when M0 is the current command. Then I load next .ngc program wich consist of commands for tool length probing (G38.2, G43.1 Z[#5063-#1000] etc.), and the commands to cut the material (g1,g0, etc.). When was processed command g0 z20, z-axis go down to 2.4564 value (the same value was on the screen in AXIS gui), after that any attempts to handle the z-axis were unsuccessful. (z-axis was placed in the wrong values different from commanded) Problem has been resolved when the EMC restarted. EMC v 2.4.5 Ubuntu hadry heron 8.04 (was installed from EMC 2.3.0 installation disk) Excuse me for bad English. -- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=106744&aid=3106610&group_id=6744 -- The Next 800 Companies to Lead America's Growth: New Video Whitepaper David G.
