Lawrence,
Nice Lean-to-steer concept scooter.
Unfortunately extremely unhelpful manufacturer website,
it looks like they forgot to maintain it after a successful Kickstarter.

Many eBikes and scooters require you to move them (kick off) *and* twist the 
throttle to "go" (after turning the vehicle on with the key).
I presume that buttons are for lights, possibly horn, on/off and maybe a 
function to enable the status screen?

Success exploring it!

BTW, there are more Youtube videos about the Zuumer than lines of feature specs 
on the website, let alone a User Manual...

[EVDL] EV Chargers at the SCAQMD

If you involved in air quality in California, you'll no doubt find your way to 
the South Coast Air Quality Management District in Diamond Bar, California. 
There's good news if you drive a BEV and haven't found enough charging 
available. 

Level 2 EV chargers are being installed at the SCAQMD headquarters, with the 
first 24 chargers going online this week. These chargers will be on the 
Greenlots network and EV drivers can access chargers using the Greenlots phone 
app or RFID card. Staff is in the process of developing a charging policy, 
however, until the policy is established, these chargers will be free to all 
users—staff and public. We anticipate taking a draft policy to the Technology 
Committee for their review in February.


Over 100 chargers will be installed.

To my knowledge, no one has seriously attempted this yet. There are
links in this thread to the people who are trying to do it with the
ECU, LBC, etc from a Leaf (basically the whole drive and battery
system). But, like you, I'd really rather not have to do this.

However, I have a 2012 driving Leaf and I've gotten several captures
from the power train bus. I also have a 2012 inverter and motor on the
bench. And, within my github repos there is a project that generates
the proper security byte for inverter control messages. So, you'd
think I could make the stuff work. I have had luck in doing this
several other oem drive trains. But, I just haven't gotten around to
trying it very seriously yet. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible
to do. Perhaps I should make more effort to get over to the bench and
try it. After all, there are more Leafs on the road (by far!) than any
of the other drive systems that have been cracked. The Leaf system is
90kW I think which is a pretty good size for a small car. Being able
to use salvage drive trains from these cars would really be something.

As a bonus, I have a 2013 driving Leaf too. So, if anyone wants to
send me a 2013 or newer motor and inverter I'd give that a whirl too.
;)

Anyway, I've got all the parts to make this happen I just need a swift
kick in the pants. So, maybe people should bug me every so often until
it happens.
