Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Send mail from outlook Every One Hr .

2012-11-06 Thread Vabz
Hi

This will help you:

Sub email()
Dim myOutlook As Object
Dim myMailItem As Object
Dim FName As String
Set otlApp = CreateObject(Outlook.Application)
Set otlNewMail = otlApp.CreateItem(olMailItem)
FName = ActiveWorkbook.Path  \  ActiveWorkbook.NAME
With otlNewMail
.To = v...@vabs.in
.CC =
.Subject = Test
.Body = Test
.Attachments.add FName
.DeferredDeliveryTime = Range(A1)
.Send
End With

Set otlNewMail = Nothing
Set otlApp = Nothing
Set otlAttach = Nothing
Set otlMess = Nothing
Set otlNSpace = Nothing
End Sub

Where in you have to customise range A1 to give next delivery time.

Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ Send mail from outlook Every One Hr .

2012-11-06 Thread Jayaprakash S
Dear Vabs,

Thank you very much for spending your valuable time on my query...

It is not giving me the required output... as it fails when :

say for example :

a) Refreshed @ 9.00 AM Data found as : 0

b)Refreshed @ 9.10AM Data found as : Mr.Ram - 2

c)Refreshed @ 9.20AM Data found as : Mr.Ram - 2

in the above scence, @ 9 AM No e-mails as no Data and @ 9:10 AM E-mail
to be sent and @ 9:20 AM again No E-mail as no change in the Value
(also e-mail has already been sent @ 9.10 AM !!)

Thank you.

 b)Refreshed @ 9.10AM Data found as : Mr.Ram - 2

 c)Refreshed @ 9.20AM Data found as : Mr.Ram - 2

 in the above scence, @ 9 AM No e-mails as no Data and @ 9:10 AM E-mail

A) THIS PIVOT WILL GET AUTO REFRESHED (BASED ON GIVEN TIMINGS)
B) ANY CHANGES IN THE TOTAL SHOULD SEND E-MAIL @ ONLY ONCE ( EXMPL:

OUND RAM : 200 - THEN, MAIL TO BE SENT @ 9: AM BUT NOT @ 9.20 AM)

Re: $$Excel-Macros$$ VBA ( macro ) sheet need to unprotect ** Urgent Help Required**

2012-11-06 Thread Paul Schreiner
Sorry you feel that way.

But from someone who has had many, many hours of effort expended
only to have someone else take the coding and present it as his
own, and not only get a PROMOTION because of the hours he saved,
but had someone else terminated because they asked me for help...

I tend to be more suspicious of people who try to get past
the passwords to get access to someone else's code.

and as for your assertion that you know the rules of the forum...

if you do, then why did you INTENTIONALLY violate them?

sorry if you took it the wrong way...

*I* was trying in a friendly way (unsuccessfully, I guess)
to explain WHY the rule exists.
and I tried to humorously (poorly, I guess) to suggest that since
WE aren't supposed to help break security, there are companies
out there that DO.

and really... take a look at your request from my perspective (and others):

You sent out something that looks like class work (which, you said it is)
and you're asking to break the security on it

What would you do if one of your students sent this out for the same reason?

-
I guess I was feeling spunky yesterday, and should have done what I normally
do
and delete any emails that ignore rule #1:

1) Use concise, accurate thread titles. Poor thread titles, like Please Help,
Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will not get
quick attention or may not be answered.

sorry to have wasted your time and mine.
But perhaps we've both learned something.

Paul,

I know the Rules of the forum...I had using this forum fro almost from long
time..appreciate your efforts in writing lengthy mail on this..

That exam itself designed by me..and I am not taking any exam ( Wrong
prediction) ..think positively ...this will nt have any loss for any one

Finally you suggested plenty of names for password...its better you use it
urself and dont suggest to anyone, which is not necessary here..none of them
buy
ur suggestions here...

Hope had clarified your doubts in your mind..finally the gud news is that I am
capable of writing a VBA code to extract the source code in the file and I am
able to open file and do modification in the current test..

Had posted this file in this forum to get speedy positive response.never
thought ppl like dont know solution to issue and diverting the things in
different way( negative minded persons--- I will really petty on your
wife)...now your long philosophy is just waste of time of many..

Notice Forum Rule #3?

3) Don't post questions regarding breaking or bypassing any security measure.

WE don't have any way of knowing if you own the code or are simply trying
break
into the code to determine some type of proprietary information (hacking)
If you are attempting to perform some illegal activity (obtain proprietary
information, etc.)
then we would them become accomplices in your activity.

From the looks of your file, it looks like someone's classwork, in which you
are
attempting
to find the correct answers, instead of doing the work... (if so, tsk tsk).

If this is truly urgent, then there ARE companies out there (try Googling)
that,
for a fee, will attempt to circumvent the security of your file.

These companies have their own procedures in place to protect them from
the legal aspects of the service they provide. (hence the need for the fee)

We, however, have no such protection.

If, indeed, this is YOUR file, and need to get at the VBA in order to grade
the
exams,

then I would suggest trying the name of your dog, wife, girlfriend, or
combination thereof.
(that is, the name of your girlfriend's dog, not girlfriend's wife.. which
would
be disturbing)

sorry, and good luck.

I took a look at your file.
It seems to have something to do with the type of image that was inserted.

I was able to double-click on the image, and a popup was presented allowing the
image to be converted to a Shape collection.

Once I converted it, I recorded a macro in which I changed the values in the

I don't know if that will give you the result you're looking for...

I took a look at your file.

It seems to have something to do with the type of image that was inserted.

I was able to double-click on the image, and a popup was presented allowing
the

image to be converted to a Shape collection.

Once I converted it, I recorded a macro in which I changed the values in the
Org Chart.

I don't know if that will give you the result you're looking for...

2012-11-06 Thread Nevin
Hi Friends,

Did you guys find time to look into my Question.I tried a lot but was
unsucessfull today.

Below code is what we used for connecting quality center with no
sucess.This code might work for QUality center 10.

But in HP ALM(Quality center 11) methodologoy is slightly different after
entering user name,password we need to click on the authenticate button
then we need to select domain,Project and then click on the Login button.

It failes wehn we used the connect method (QCcon.Connect Domain,
Project).Iam suspecting it has to do something with the authentication
button

Please suggest me.

Sub CreateConnection()
Dim qcUser As String
Dim qcPassword As String
Dim qcDomain As String
Dim qcProject As String
Dim qcHostName As String
qcUser = Username
qcPassword = Password
qcDomain = DomainName
qcProject = ProjectName
Set QCcon = CreateObject(TDApiOle80.TDConnection)
QCcon.InitConnectionEx HP ALM url
QCcon.Login UserName, Password
QCcon.Connect Domain, Project
MsgBox connection established
End Sub

I took a look at your file.
It seems to have something to do with the type of image that was inserted.

I was able to double-click on the image, and a popup was presented allowing the
image to be converted to a Shape collection.

Once I converted it, I recorded a macro in which I changed the values in the
Org Chart.

I don't know if that will give you the result you're looking for...
