SBS 2003 - Exchange
How do I allow Inbound SMTP traffic directed to an outside IP Address. In Exchange 5.5, it was done by adding the outside interface in the routing tab of the Internet Mail Service Connection and then adding a SMTP address to the recipient with that outside address as the domain. Paging File Question....
Hi Everyone. im runnig exchange 2000 on a dell 6650 server and windows 2000 advanced server. i have the /3 GB switch on the boot.ini and the specs on the server are the following: Dual XEON 1.60Ghz Processors 3 Gigs RAM OS RAID 1 (9 gig) Log Files RAID 1 (18 gig) IS Drive RAID 5 (140 gigs) i have my paging file on the raid 5 drive with the database. is this good or bad? im getting mixed reviews from local people here... another thing i cant figure out is windows is recommending the paging file to be 5374 but it wont allow me to change it to that high. it tells me i have to have it smaller than 4095.. any ideas why this is doing this? any input or recommendations on location of the paging file is appreciated because in outlook i get pauses and chokes every few minutes when i am opening messages or scrolling through my mail. thanks for any input and help. Help with OWA 5.5 after changing firewalls....
Hello everone, finally got the boss at a side job to scrap MS Proxy 2.0 and put a PIX 515 in. Exchange 5.5 is running on the same box as Proxy 2.0. i removed Proxy 2.0 and now OWA 5.5 does not work thru my PIX. i have a NAT translation configured for our mail server and have tcp ports 25 and 80 open on the pix for OWA. when i go to the page, i get You are not authorized to view this page HPPT 403 Forbidden error. i have Log on Locally rights on this machine and was wondering what else i should check. it was working perfectly before until i changed our Proxy out for a real firewall. Server is NT 4.0 (for now) SP 6a IIS 4.0. any help is appreciated.
