To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues exchangelist@lyris.sunbelt-software.com Date: Monday, March 14, 2011, 7:46 PM Just giving a warning.. Apparently Exchange 2010 SP1 RU3 introduces an issue on BES 5.0 SP2 MR4 and causes duplicate Sent items to show up on the Blackberry devices. The bug does not actually send out duplicate e-mails and do not show up as duplicates in the user’s Sent Items within their mailbox, just on the device itself. Using ALT V-I-E-W on each duplicate message shows a different RefID, so it almost appears that Exchange might be modifying the Sent item and causes that to be synced back to the user’s device as a different Sent Item. Just a guess anyway… Rolling back to SP1 RU2 appears to have fixed the issue. Anyone know how I can modify the file size? The reason I want to do this -I want to stick a 5GB file on all of my exchange DB volumes so I have a 5GB quick buffer incase my database grows to quick and dismounts due to no more space on the volume -When the database dismounts I can delete the file and have space to keep running without going to the SAN peeps and begging for more storage -Doing anything with a 5GB file takes a while - if I can artificially manipulate the file size I can avoid the time it would take to create the file, copy the file and to delete the file. - I could script the deletion with commands to shrink the file from 5GB to 5KB then delete the file --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.commailto:listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.commailto:listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.commailto:listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.commailto:listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist

This would be helpful as people plan their trips to different locations. Can you give us some options for setting this up and how it would integrate with Outlook? All managers are not interested in sharing all parts of their existing calendar. So, another option could be controlling the visibility of individual items on the personal calendars. I'm not familiar with anything in Exchange that will do this, but I thought I would ask. If anyone has a keyword to Google, I'd appreciate it. Delegates on the calendar for the user? --Original Message-- From: Wayne Dueck To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues ReplyTo: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Meeting Request issue Sent: Jan 10, 2011 13:37 I have an unusual issue with Outlook and am not sure the next troubleshooting steps. Exchange 2007 SP2 ru2 Outlook 2007 SP2 I send a meeting request to UserA and UserA gets it but UserB and UserC gets it also and I get an NDR back saying it's undeliverable to UserD which is an IMCEAEX... type address. In the header section of the NDR, the To shows the undeliverable to the IMCEAEX address and delivery to UserB and UserC(which I didn't send it to) and nothing about UserA receiving it but I have verified that she did receive it. The transaction logs back this up. They do not show a 'Deliver' to UserA. The 'Receive' event shows the IMCEAEX, UserB, UserC. - Happens with a meeting request (is repeatable) - Does not happen with email to this person - Does not happen with meeting requests to other people. - UserA account IsLinked = False - UserA says there might of been a rule to forward meetings at one time but currently there are no rules - Checked UserA Active Directory object attributes for clues Where do I go from here?
