Configure a new Internet Mail Connector under your regime and you're asking for trouble unless you have a photographic memory (which I certainly don't). And, for the record, I've had no ptoblems whatsoever with the Post-SP4 fixes. Stop all Exchange services manually (Shut down SA service. This will kill everything else). Stop IIS admin service (this will also shut down any other IIS services). Stop any AV software. RE: Outlook 2k Exchange sp4
Can the user log on to Outlook with another system? If so, have you tried detect and repair from the Outlook Help menu to repair the installation on that machine? We use 2K, so not sure if it's there in 2002. If not, you might also be able to choose add/remove programs and repair/reinstall from there. -Original Message- From: Fatmi, Saida [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2002 11:15 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Outlook 2k Exchange sp4 One of my users' win2k system crashed. He had to fix his system using repair disk. Everything works but his outlook 2002 is not working. It gives him error like system cannot log you in. It was working just fine before. I don't see any error log in the server. I tried to re-create his profile but nothing happen. I also made sure rpc locater startup is set to manual. That did not made any different. Please help. Still got the problem with Exchange Sp4 and post
Title: Still got the problem with Exchange Sp4 and post Hello all, Still remember me? I installed a new imc with sp4 and a post sp4 for MTA problems I had. Thought this would fix my IMC problem. But no. On monday some hot shots called me as mail that was send over the weekend still hadn't arrived. So I had a look at the new server. It was having the same symptoms like the old one. Mail get's accepted by the imc but keeps sitting in the 'Inbound waiting for Conversion'. It never comes out only after a reboot. (Stopping the service and starting will also not work).
