I'd always suggest TouchDown on Android for a solid ActiveSync client. The feature support on Android is too scattered otherwise. As I understand it, it isn't Exchange that doesn't support it, it's Motorola's implementation of the protocol. Mail, calendar, and contacts are all you will get by default using the native EAS client... Touchdown will give you Notes and Tasks... Let's not confuse Exchange Server ActiveSync vs. an ActiveSync implementation. Apple, various Android OEMs, Touchdown, etc. - all of these are ActiveSync licensees. Which parts of the spec they choose to implement are completely up to them. Exchange Server ActiveSync supports it.
