Re: [expert] Evolution 1.0 released

How did you get it installed? I'm a newbie and I would love to upgrade
my Evolution, but what about dependencies to things like different libs?
Is it hard?

Re: [expert] Evolution 1.0 released

2001-12-04 Thread Angus Beath

No, it wasn't too hard. I used gnoRPM and it told me all the
dependencies I needed. I downloaded the neccessary files and then ran an
upgrade. It upgraded all the libs and ran fine. I did have some problems
with the gnome pim thing, but I eventually got around it. Take your time
and make sure you've got all the files downloaded and in a readily
accessible place. Good luck.

Re: [expert] Evolution 1.0 released

2001-12-04 Thread Salvatore Enrico Indiogine

Greetings!

I am running the version that came with MDK 8.1 which is version 0.13. I
would love to upgrade to version 1.0 but I can not find it. I went to
http://rpmfind.net and it was not there.

Could someone please tell where version 1.0 rpm for Mandrake 8.1 can be
found?

Thanks,

Enrico

Never mind... I just noticed that rpmfind.net now has the evolution rpm
for Mandrake (Cooker). I just installed it after dealing with a few
dependencies.

Looks good so far. Thanks Ximian and Mandrake.
