Re: [expert] Evolution 1.0 released
How did you get it installed? I'm a newbie and I would love to upgrade my Evolution, but what about dependencies to things like different libs? Is it hard? /Søren On Tue, 2001-12-04 at 04:31, Angus Beath wrote: The 1.0 release came out today. I am running it on an 8.1 system and have so far been very impressed. Re: [expert] Evolution 1.0 released
No, it wasn't too hard. I used gnoRPM and it told me all the dependencies I needed. I downloaded the neccessary files and then ran an upgrade. It upgraded all the libs and ran fine. I did have some problems with the gnome pim thing, but I eventually got around it. Take your time and make sure you've got all the files downloaded and in a readily accessible place. Good luck. Re: [expert] Evolution 1.0 released
Greetings! I am running the version that came with MDK 8.1 which is version 0.13. I would love to upgrade to version 1.0 but I can not find it. I went to http://rpmfind.net and it was not there. Could someone please tell where version 1.0 rpm for Mandrake 8.1 can be found? Thanks, Enrico On Mon, 2001-12-03 at 20:31, Angus Beath wrote: The 1.0 release came out today. Re: [expert] Evolution 1.0 released
Never mind... I just noticed that rpmfind.net now has the evolution rpm for Mandrake (Cooker). I just installed it after dealing with a few dependencies. Looks good so far. Thanks Ximian and Mandrake. Enrico On Tue, 2001-12-04 at 20:22, Salvatore Enrico Indiogine wrote: Greetings! I am running the version that came with MDK 8.1 which is version 0.13.
