Re: [FairfieldLife] Re: Welcome Sat Yuga

2005-08-07 Thread Robert Gimbel

I heard Maharishi say, during the Guru Purnamah Celebration, that wherever there is someone who is enlightened, then Sat Yuga, is lively there.
I believe he originally came to the conclusion, that Kali Yuga, although appearing to be all-encompassed in ignorance, is dysfunctional in all of it's manifestations, government, medicine, economics, religion, and so on...
And because Enlighenment is completely functional, then it can easily overcome the chaos in the enviornment, when enlightenment is present.
More and more people are 'waking up'.
And wherever someone is 'awake', there is Sat Yuga.
So, Sat Yuga, is wherever there is an enlighened one present.
As far as his recent emphasis on archetecture, this is also symbolic to me of the concept he presented, namely function easily replaces dysfunction, enlightenment easily replaces the illusion of seperateness, and the dysfuctional chaos is overcome...
"Remember,, enlightenment is here now, you just have to realize it, and there you will find Sat Yuga...Patrick Gillam [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

I don't presume to keep up with Maharishi's thinking. However, it
seems to me what Maharishi has been doing over the years
is 'discovering' more and more expansive expressions of
consciousness in keeping with the experiences and desires of those
closest to him.

First TC then CC then GC etc. -- Along with the exposition of these
states of consciousness, have been correlates he has spoken of to
our outward experience, like being friendlier, sleeping better, then
broader social effects, like crime dropping, etc. -- Also brought
out were the technologies that blended these higher states with the
outer world, like Vedic architecture, herbal supplements, massage
techniques, etc.

Finally, the furthest expression of all this according to what human
consciousness can comprehend, the culmination of all of his
teaching: an age of human perfection in all areas of life, Sat Yuga.

So Sat Yuga is what his closest followers want to experience. Hence
the robes n' crowns n' stuff. All Maharishi's expression of love to
his followers, his devotees.

So here each of us is now, with the full range of human experience
before us. It appears for now Maharishi has given us everything he
intended to. Quite a menu!

This is an interesting question.

Maharishi reffers to Guru Dev and give all credit to Him.
Guru Dev is one of the most evolved Masters among the Masters of
Wisdom who have been preparing the way for Maitreyas return to earth
for the first time in ten-thousands of years, which indeed is
happening right now.

Heaven will walk on earth - in this generation.'

What I read on this forum was that there was a critical point in time
(presumeably predicted with Jyotish) where actions would be magnified
to have an overwhelming effect.

YMMV.

Actually, it was quite a bit like that in Fairfield.

There was an outdoor program by the Ladies' Dome, and an outdoor program in a
field
just off Juniper Ave in Vedic City. I attended the one in VC; no one challenged
my right to
be there or gave me any crap whatsoever.

There was no shouting of the welcome, otherwise it was pretty much as you
described,
with cake afterwards.

There WAS quite a bit of laughing in program, however.

It was really quite sweet, out there in the country, and as you say, fun.

My first group program with the official people since 1994.
