Thanks Wendy. I am doing OK. Still missing Jake, and thinking about him a lot. I am going to pick up his ashes todayThanks so much for thinking of us! The first week was incredibly hard-- spent the first weekend drugged on sleeping pills just trying not to be awake. Patches has loose stool that today is diarrhea, and so far is not responding to the metronidazole. So I now have some anxiety about her taking over my emotions too. It is hard not to just focus on the possibility that she too has lymphoma, in her intestines. I have a generally ominous feeling about my two remaining positives, which I hope is just that, a feeling. Thanks again, Michelle

Dear Cindy, Although I don't post much I have been keeping your Stinky in my prayers. I am so sorry she didn't make it. I know she was your tie to your brother and that you loved her too, but now she is back with your brother and they are together again. Please be gentle with yourself - you only tried to do the best you could. She knows that, and she loves you for that. OT Cat Peeing on Bed
I live on the edge of a park and last Aug. I rescued a 4 mo. old kitten. He had not been out there to long because he was in very good shape, I soon discovered why he had been dumped in the park. Several times each day he would pee on my bed. And YES he also used the litter box. I could not close the door to the bedroom as I have only one bedroom and three other cats I learned that a shower curtain was the right size to cover a queen size bed. First I put down a cloth shower curtain. He peed on that for a couple of days. About 5% went thru the curtain. Then I put a plastic liner under the cloth one and I have had a dry bed ever since.

Hi Cindy, I am so sorry about Stinky. I know exactly how you feel as Buster has been gone a week today..It is very lonely when I go to see Bandy and Lil Rascal and Buster isn't there to greet me.. All I do know is that they are no longer in any pain and playing at the bridge. I keep telling myself that I have to be strong for the others that need me. We will remember all the good times that we had with them.. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kerry, Bandy, Lil Rascal and Angel Buster Yahoo! Mail Bring photos to life! Aw Cindy, I'm so sorry about Stinky. I can only imagine how hard it is to lose her, for her own sweet sake and also because so much of your brother is tied up in your love for her too. It's so wonderful that you were able to have her to care for and to shower her with love and attention in honor of your brother's love. I absolutely believe that your brother was there when she passed to help her transition and that they are both watching over you with protection and gratitude. Blessings to you in your grief, may the sweet memories of her and the thoughts of their reunion bring a smile through your tears very, very soon. Try spraying the bed with Feliway. And give the little guy some Rescue Remedy.
