Our poor little babies. All of my animals are rescue situations. They would sure have stories to tell if they could talk! She spends all day in my bedroom on the bed coming down only to use her box and drink from her wate bowl in the shower. I tried taking her outide and she clung to me and would not get down. She was shaking so that I took her back inside. I got her from Pals (no kill shelter) at the age of 10. Before that se belonged to a pet sitter (who had 23 cats). She had a large chain link fenced area for her cats. I know she took good care of her babies but what happened to Lil Bit before that heaven only knows. Like you say, I wish they could talk, then maybe we could help them overcome their fears. I let her roam free in the basement every chance I get. Even though the palace is 8 feet long, 4 feet wide, and six feet tall, she still likes to get out of it for a while. I can roll it outside but she doesn't really like that. It seems to make her nervous when she is outdoors. Poor thing, I wish she could talk so I could know her story! She is too tame and sweet from the beginning to be a feral cat. Somebody must have just decided they did not want her anymore and basically threw her away. I the photos I had rolled it close to the basment garage door opening so she could see the outdoors. It is when I roll it completely outside that she gets the most nervous.
