I volunteer with Fix Our Ferals in Oakland, CA and I can't count the number of times that a lost cat showed up at a colony someone was feeding. Lost cat alerts go out to the entire group and there have been so many times when the cat was found that way. Does Mattie trust you? You might want to put an article of clothing that smells like you over, or next to the trap. Do you have any of her littermates still? I know it can be a traumatic way to trap, but maybe you could put a buddy of her's in a large carrier butted up to the trap, (the way we do when we use babies to catch their mommas). Are any of her friends esp vocal? Nina Nina wrote: I agree with Kelly and Susan, you need to get a trap out asap. Great idea Susan about contacting possible feral groups in the area.
