Alexander, That did it! It created a directory called "build" with the Gshisen app in it. Runs perfectly. This will put you in Project Builder, where you'll launch "Build and Run" from the Build menu. Et voila, the app will show up in the "build" subdir. (Just tried it. That's it! Thanks very much. This version appears to be an OSX app and not XDarwin, but if you'll pardon my continuing this thread in the Fink group, perhaps someone can help me build the app. There's a problem. Craig, Alexander and all, I checked my SuSE Linux installation and found that Shisen-sho (Kshisen) depends on these libraries: libkdeui.so.3 libkdecore.so.3 libkdefakes.so.3 libdl.so.2 libDCOP.so.1 libqt.so.2 libpng.so.2 libz.so.1 libjpeg.so.62 libXext.so.6 libX11.so.6 libSM.so.6 libICE.so.6 libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 libm.so.6 libc.so.6 libXft.so.1 libmng.so.1 /lib/ld.so.1 libXrender.so.1 liblcms.so.1 Many of these do not seem to be in the Fink distro and some are obviously part of KDE. Re: [Fink-users] Shi-Sen-Sho?
No, Shisen-sho (found the correct spelling) is not the same as gnome-mahjongg or xmahjongg. The game is not played quite the same as mahjongg, but is not-too-distantly related. My wife just told me that Shisen-Sho is in KDE, not Gnome. Now I suspect that's the reason it hasn't been ported over, but wonder if it requires any libraries that are not already on a Fink/XDarwin installation. [Fink-users] Shi-Sen-Sho?
Hi all, There's a game my wife enjoys that's in the SuSE Linux version of Gnome but not in the XDarwin version. It's a variant of mahjongg called Shi-Sen-Sho (spelling?) and it was in the gnome-games package in Linux. Is porting this to XDarwin in the plans? With the possible exception of KDE, it's the last holdout that's keeping me from erasing the Linux partition on my iBook and re-using the space for something else, now that XDarwin is so much better than any of the PPC Linux variants. -- Tom ***Home page at toad.net/~tdove/*** *Sailing, genealogy, ham radio* ___ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
