Sorry. I didn't go into vehicle description because it was not the
focus of my question. We haul our 26' AirStream trailer with the pick
up, so my thinking was that if it can tow the AirStream it could tow a
2 horse trailer. Please let me know if I am mistaken.

Tamara,
I have a Brenderup and I love it. I just hauled the baby home in it from
Albquerque. The ride is smooth and kind to horses. It is made for women to
hitch and haul. Easy to move around and manuever by hand. The engineering is
great. I hauled it first with my 1987 F-150 straight six and Steve's T-bird
with no problem. You never know it's there. Now we use the F-250 diesel and it
is sort of overhorsed you might say. They are pricey!! Everytime I use mine, I
say Thanks Mom!

Shawna,

We have driven both ways. Mark is right in that Hwy 56 is a beautiful
drive, however VERY windy as it follows the river and lake. I would NOT go
that way with a horse trailer hooked up. It gets quite narrow and curvy in
places.

For a scenic drive with just a car, it is beautiful to see ONCE.

For what it's worth, we have never used that road again.

We have traveled that rout many times (to Libby or just as far as Sandpoint

Hwy 95 thru Sandpoint to Bonner's Ferry. Then take Hwy 2 on to Libby. It is

Mare and 2 Fillies for Sale

2004-08-26 Thread Ingrid Ivic
This message is from: Ingrid Ivic [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hello All,

In the interest of reducing our herd before the fall/winter, we are
offering a 4-1/2 yr.old mare, a 2-1/2 yr.old filly, and a 1-1/2 yr.old filly
for sale, at reasonable prices.

The 4-1/2 yr.old mare was started under saddle this spring (english)
continues to do her job well. Very sweet mare, lunges, ground drives,
halters ties, trailers, leads, easy to worm, etc. Vet and farrier friendly,
up top date on all things (vaccinations, worming, feet, teeth floated...).
Has natural mane. Light Brown dun, registered with the NFHR CAN. Asking
$4,000 NEG.

The 2-1/2 yr.old halters, leads, ties, loves grooming, lunges and is
also easy to worm and handle. Pretty light brown dun filly, 13.3 hds. and
still growing. Intelligent! Vet and Farrier friendly too. By our good
stallion, FM Julian (BDF Malcom Locke x Lilla A Premie mare). FM Julian's
photo can be seen on our webpage and on the NFHR pedigree site. Registered
NFHR. Asking $3,500 NEG.

Our pretty yearling halters, leads, ties, is good for the vet and
farrier. Easy to worm, adores attention, stands well for mane trimming!
Loves to learn. Almost the same height as the 2-1/2 yr.old...stands 13.2
currently. Will mature to be good sized mare (I'm guessing 14.2...like her
Dam). Also sired by our FM Julian. Registered NFHR. Asking $3,000 NEG.

Package deals (price reduction) given for a multiple horse purchase.
While it is a bit late in the season, the 4-1/2 yr.old mare can be bred to
our stallion for free (if purchased at her asking price).

I'm happy to answer any questions. Call to chat (leave a message if I'm
out with the horses...I'll call you back) or drop me a line at

And if you do miss the turn off and go into Montana on HWY 200, don't fret,
there is a very nice highway just into Montana, HWY 56 I believe, that will
bring you north to HWY 2, just between Troy and Libby, it used to be a very

believe Catherine's place is probably smoky, but safe.

As of this morning, DFPA (www.dfpa.nethttp://www.dfpa.net/) reports the
fire 75%
contained. Continued damp weather (we had another 0.1 of rain
overnight) has slowed the spread of the fire and helped the crews get
a line around it. However, it's slow going, in very steep terrain.

I would love to stop and see him!! He has a baby 1/2 brother , born the end

but seems to be flirting with red as well.
Bonnie Liermann, from WI, was here for a visit last week and thought he looked
red. The thought had crossed my mind several times, but when she said it
aloud, I promptly showed her the still darker hairs in his mane. She might
be right though as Magnus did the same thing that this colt is doing.
