From Pat Holland
This message is from: "Dave and Patti Walter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I'm writing for Pat Holland, as TWO days before Blue Earth, their house got hit by lightening. They have no computer, TV and just got their phone working BUT NO answering machine. She would like everyone to know who might have tried to reach her before Blue Earth, that she wasn't trying to be unreachable but Mother Nature had other plans for her! Those on the 25th anniversary who might be trying to email her, or call, she is sorry that she can not reply to any of her emails, and I'm sure she will have 100's of emails when it's back up and running but.SHE WILL reply when it's up and running. HOPEFULLY SOON!! She is working on the problem, now that she is home from Blue Earth. She would also like to THANK, everyone who helped with the show and ALL those that came. Too many names to include here, but so many WONDERFUL helpers. In the office, announcing, setting up, many behind the scenes, helping in so many areas. Wow, what a GREAT group. Really, I would like to add, we have THE BEST group of people. I know personally, I was a problem child for the office. AND everyone was very nice to me, even though they probably wanted to kill me! Sorry, and I will be better next year I PROMISE. Lots of new faces coming and that is AWESOME. LOTS and LOTS of NICE horses! The Show was a GREAT success. I'm not sure how many horses were there, around 100, I guess. There was great competition, awesome horses and the best owners in the world. It's such a friendly atomsphere, so warm and inviting for new comers and competitive enough for those who do more showing thru out the year. It's good to be home, but oh was it GREAT to be at Blue Earth. LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR ALREADY!!! Patti Jo Walter www.franciscreekfjords.com

Denmark
This message is from: Curt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi, I just found some timely news for all those going to the Danish Jubilee. LONDON, England (Reuters) -- If you're looking for happiness, move to Denmark. It's the happiest country in the world while Burundi in Africa is the most unhappy, according to a new report by a British scientist released on Friday. Adrian White, an analytical social psychologist at the University of Leicester in central England, based his study on data from 178 countries and 100 global studies from the likes of the United Nations and the World Health Organization. "We're looking much more at whether you are satisfied with your life in general," White told Reuters. "Whether you are satisfied with your situation and environment." The main factors that affected happiness were health provision, wealth and education, according to White who said his research had produced the "first world map of happiness." Following behind Denmark came Switzerland, Austria, Iceland and the Bahamas. At the bottom came the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe and Burundi. The United States came in at 23rd, Britain was in 41st place, Germany 35th and France 62nd. So, for all those going to the Danish Jubilee next week, have a great time in a Happy country! You will also see some awsome and happy Fjords. Regards, Curt Pierce and Marsha Korose Mathias, WV
Bucking Fjord - Thanks for the Help
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello Everyone- Thank you for the suggestions I've received regarding my bucking Fjord. I will begin doing as you've said. My boy is a sweetie and has a very kind temperament. I believe this bucking usually occurs when he has been kept in for a prolonged time period. So, I'm going to begin his training on this. Thanks again! It's great to have a forum like this to discuss things. Sincerely- Pat McCurdy Cato, NY
