Hi Julie

I feel like I know you already, having heard so many wonderful things about
you and your horses from Curt and Marsha and, of course, all of your postings
to the list.

We have 2 - 3year old fillies, a 2 year old colt and a broodmare (the mother
of one of our fillies) and her 7 week old colt - Keeps us busy. Curt has
encouraged us to try to attend your show in August. Right at present that
looks pretty dim, but if you have time I would appreciate your mailing us a
program. If you still need class sponsorship, let us know. Even if we don't
make it to the show this year, we would love it to continue so we can come
and participate some year in the future.

We, for sure, plan on attending the evaluation this fall in Morrisville. It
will be our pleasure to meet you and hopefully get to see Flotren.

Many thanks
Mary Harvey

Just a reminder that the third annual Finger Lakes Fjord Show will be on
August 3rd, in Weedsport, New York. Our class list is in the mail to all who
have requested it. We also welcome class sponsors, for only $25 per class, or
sponsorship and a business card ad in the program for $50. This year we are
offering dressage tests as well as our usual riding/driving/draft classes.

The day after the show, August 4th, Pat Wolfe will teach a clinic here at Old
Hickory Farm on Pleasure driving and log pulling. The cost is $35 with a
horse, or $20 to audit. There will be lunch offered by a local group.

Please email me if you want entry forms or clinic registration, and mail
sponsorship or ad checks to Julie Will, 2502 Brick Church Road, Weedsport, NY
13166. (Indicate if there is a special class you would like to sponsor.) We
hope this show will continue to grow!

Best wishes to everyone as the summer gets rolling. Maybe it will stop
raining here and we can cut some hay!

Juli,
Yes I'd like to sponsor or advertise in the flyer. I'll have to wait to
send funds as I haven't had a pay since Nov 30 of last year. but I am
starting a new job this next week finally.
We are going to Maine on the Harley with a group that week so will not be
there. I'd really like to get Elvis there. He's a good looking guy!
Last week we lost Tanja. She was due after the end of the month. We don't
really know what happened. Hank was checking her every couple hours as she
did have some bag but not much really. I was away unfortunately. He said
she was eating and drinking as usual, nothing seemed amiss. And on the next
check she was gone.

Hello Fjord World! Our 3rd annual Finger Lakes Show is set for August
3rd,
judged by Karen Cabic. This year we will offer a few dressage classes, as
well as our regular riding, driving and draft classes. We are adding a
Gambler's Choice class and a green horse driving class.

As always, we are looking for class sponsors! Only $25 to sponsor a
class,
$35 to advertise in our program, or $50 to do both. Email me if you would
like to participate in sponsorship, or be on the mailing list for show
info.

On Sunday following the show, there will be a clinic conducted by Pat
Wolfe on
Pleasure driving and log pulling at Old Hickory Farm.

Happy spring to you all! Our first foal, named Yorik is 3 weeks old and a
beauty. We are expecting two more foals out of mares we bought and had
bred
in Norway and imported last summer.
