Hi list, I don't know where else to voice this...so I'm doing it hear.
It is now going on Aug. 17th, and I have yet to get a show list.
I've sent e-mails, to the proper people... my friend has placed many calls
(all to answering machinesand not returned) What do we need to do to
get
a show list??? We were really looking forward to bringing our horses this
year to this showand I'm deeply disappointed already!
What does a person have to do to get one before the DAY of the show

I also sent a e-mail to Allyson and haven't received a reply yet. I
talked to several NFHA members at the Finger Lakes Fjord show this last
weekend. Nobody has received their show packages yet. Can someone on
the show committee or NFHA board find out what's going on and let us
know? Thanks!!

When I spoke with Allyson on July 28th she said the show packets were at the
printer's. Hopefully they went into the mail last week and everyone should
have them sometime this week.

Hi all,

I have misplaced my northeast fjord horse association calendar (though I
found 1997's :) ). When is Woodstock this year? Who is the contact
person?

I skimmed through the herald, but did not see it there either.

Thanks!

Hi List, I am a new subscriber, and will be an intermittent contributor. My
Husband and I own 2 Fjords, Sigrid and Stovar, but we are currently in the
process of selling Sigrid to a friend who has been riding and using her for
the past year.

My friend and I were at the Woodstock Show, and she did quite well, 2
championships and a reserve championship with Sigrid. I was generally
pleased with Stovar's performance, since he is only 4, and it was his first
overnight experience. We showed in Western tack, unusual for Woodstock,
but based on the feedback from others, I think we will start seeing more of
it.

My comments on the draft, I enjoyed the draft on Saturday - we usually don't
stay to do it in Sundays. It was fun, and the group that participated had a
few good laughs. I really liked the new class too! My friend is
interested in the Dressage postings, as we had to leave before they finished
and were pinned.

Thanks!

Michele

 Hi Julia and Mike,

Thank you alot for your comments on Woodstock. Sorry that I didn't meet
you.
We were guest of Alan's sister in Norwich and didn't know how much we would
miss by not going to the dinner on saturday night. We sat with the Merrimans
during the show sat. and sun. and heard alot about the auction and admired
her table and wished we had been there!
Yes, the show moved slowly with just one horse in the ring in the
beginning and in the log pull event. But we certainly enjoyed meeting people
and seeing the horses!
  Thanks again, Lois Merrill

Okay I'll brag Marnix was Overall Ridden Driven Dressage Champion as
well as Open Single Driving Champion. Wesley handled Penfryyd's Nykka to
Overall Champion Mare and the pair were Reserve Champion Junior as well as
Reserve Ridden Dressage Champion. This was Nykka's second competition and Wes
did a very good job with her. Heather Kurtz a 15 year old girl in her second
year of riding handled rode one of our imported Dutch mares 4year old Orinke
to a second in the 3-5yr. old mare class and the pair were Reserve Champion
Beginner Rider. This was Heather's first horse show ever and she 's still
beaming with pride as well she should be. I was very lucky to have such good
help and I was very proud of the girls and my horses. Vivian Creigh
