Re: Stallion Review
This message is from: "Russ and Laurie Lamb" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I read on the NFHR site that they are going to try to get a professional to video the Evening of Dancing Horses as well as part of the Evaluation and Horse Show. What about the Stallion Review? As Pat said, this many stallions have not been represented in one place in NFHR history. How could we not tape it? Is the cost too much? I do realize it would be quite a job. I know that I'd love to see it and the only way that will happen is thru video/DVD. Here's hoping. Laurie Lamb

This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have not even been tempted to attend the show (I'm not much a show person), but this post really made me think twice. If anyone does any videotaping, I would love to have the opportunity to purchase a copy. This just sounds fabulous to be able to see and hear!! This message is from: "Pat Holland" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Carol wrote: Each stallion will be presented in any way the owner chooses, and he may be accompanied by up to two of his ffspring. -- Actually we are allowing for FOUR offspring of each stallion present during the individual presentation times. There will be three stallions represented in absentia, and for those will be allowed more offspring than four, due to the fact the stallion himself will not be present. At this time we have 36 stallions coming. It will be truly something special to see. Each owner/farm will be allowed to present their stallion (s) in any fashion they want, with a script read and to individual music. I would imagine given the individual talents of our diverse membership, the varied bloodlines and type of Fjords we have here in North America we will all be privy to some wonderful performances. The Stallion Review portion will begin Thursday evening, October the 12th. Pat Holland with Pat Wolfe (Co-Chairs, Stallion Review - 25th Anniversary Celebration)
Re: Stallion Review / 25th
This message is from: "Pat Holland" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Just a reminder to those of you who sent me the Interest Form for the Stallion Row, and received the 2nd mailing asking for a deposit, it is due back to me by April 1st. With 37 stallions coming, and each giving a presentation Thursday evening, the stallion review portion of the NFHR 25th Anniversary Celebration in Winona, will be an impressive program and requires a great deal of organization. In a few weeks I will post on the Digest the list of stallions coming, those of you whom own offspring of any of those stallions, I would like to make a suggestion. Contact the owner of the stallion whom your horses are by and tell them what you've done with that offspring, many of them may not know what you've done and accomplished with those horses and they may ask you to participate with them in their demonstrations. (this is very much allowed and encouraged) It is very impressive to see, in the individual presentations not only the stallion himself, but their offspring working as well around them. Some stallions though impressive themselves often throw extraordinary offspring that you've made through your own hard work. Maybe some of you have never shown and are hesitant to do so alone - working with the breeder, this can give you an opportunity to show the world ( which will literally be there) your pride in your horse and your own individual accomplishments with them. With all the new classes now offered at the 25th Show, (just look at the list on the NFHR web site home page, newly updated) and you might see a variety of classes to participate in as well. If anyone has any questions regarding the stallion review portion please contact myself [EMAIL PROTECTED] or Pat Wolfe at [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you are not a stallion owner please feel free to contact me, perhaps I can help you with ideas on how to be a part of this unique and (at least in MY life) a once in a lifetime event. Thank you Pat Holland with Pat Wolfe Co Chairs/ NFHR 25th Anniversary Celebration - Stallion review

Re:2nd mailing for the stallion review
This message is from: "Pat Holland" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Thank you to all who sent me the Intent of Interest form regarding participation in the stallion review for the 25th Anniversary. I will be going to the Winona Facility this week end while attending the MWFHC Winter Meeting and looking closely at the facilities for all the stallions. I will be sending out the 2nd information packet after I get back. Thank you for your patience. With over 35 stallions coming it's important that we have all our ducks in a row, and I need to see something's before sending off the new packet. Pat Holland
Re: NFHR 25th Anniversary Stallion Review
This message is from: "Pat Holland" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi All...again Thank you all for responding to our first mailing for interest in participating in the stallion review portion of the NFHR 25th Anniversary show to be held in Winona in October. We currently have 35 stallions coming from across the nation. I will be sending out the 2nd mailing within the next few weeks with more information. Pat Wolfe, Curtis Pierce and I have been working together to make this an evening to remember. Many extra's and surprises are planned - Along with the "package" each stallion owner will receive - is a full color "keepsake" program I am putting together, with each stallions picture, pedigree and profile. This will be a high quality - original, custom designed, limited edition document regarding the Fjord and it's impact in North America. Wayne Hispley has agreed to write a forward for me and within the book will be editorials from those who were there from the beginning. Look for your 2nd instructional packet soon. We all have allot to look forward to this year. Pat Holland
Where and When is the stallion Review?
This message is from: "Catherine lassesen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Pat thanks for the heads up where and when is the stallion review? I think it would be fun to have all the boys in one place but with fuel at 3.80 a gal. Our farm will be limited to how far we will haul. If it is far on the calendar maybe we can get a large truck to stop along the way and pick up stallions on the route to the location... like in 1997 when NFHR paid 10,000 to have horses hauled to Equitana USA. Just a thought... For some the distance may be to far. Please give details the earlier the better. Thanks for the heads up. Catherine
