You can't, AFAIK. It's not a matter of just compiling it, or there
would be ports readily available. It was a lot of work just to get
the WamCom port running, there's a reason that one's been abandoned.

Why? There's been a 1.3.1 build available for years.

Try the latest beta of iCab.

I think there's some details in wamcom.org. It's not simply a
recompilation issue -- you'd need to rewrite some code.

A: Wamcom was pretty unstable with 9.1, but I'll try it again with my
9.2.2 install.

B: I'll try the latest iCab build and get back to you on that. I
still think iCab is slower at rendering than Mozilla 1.2, but that's
just IMHO.

C: Well, I'll give up on that task, as I've been running into trouble
left and right finding the actual program .cpp files...

Well, thanks for that info. I remember reading that on the wamcom
site when I went to download their Mozilla build. I'm just stubborn,
I guess.

And, as someone who has barely started learning C++, it won't be me
rewriting that huge amount. :p

I know OS X is better than 9, and it has support for my lovely Aria
Extreme wireless card, but I'll have to settle for the $20 OWC Jaguar
set, and that'll be next week before I'll have a paycheck to purchase
that with. Trust me, I'm not running 9 by choice, but by necessity.
In fact, my Lombard had Jaguar on it when I bought the thing off
eBay, but Jag tanked on me, forcing me to use Drive Setup on the OS 9
recovery disc that came with it. *grrr*

Figure out why. I use WaMCom Moz on 9.1 and 9.2.2 and found it to be
FAR more stable than IE or NS.

Well, of course it is. The betas *explicitly* say they're BETA test
software and have not been speed-optimized yet.

But it still supports CSS etc far better than any other browser on OS 9.
