Luis, Wallstreet is running fine on 10.2.8. Will probably remain there for ever. I'm hoping to find a version with the broadcom chipset. dklj On Apr 14, 2005, at 9:42 AM, Luis Sequeira wrote: Van, Tks for the reply. All great leads. Really curious about which Belkin works in a Lombard. AFAIK some Belkin cards have a Broacom chipset and work with built-in drivers in Mac OS X (I have one of those :-), it came in a redish box); some have a Ralink chipset and need drivers, available at the Ralink web site ralinktech.com (these seem to be the ones in a grayish box, but I am not sure), again for Mac OS X. As far as Mac OS 9 is concerned, I do not know. My Belkin card works great in a Wallstreet running 10.3.8 (installed with XPostFacto). Luis, The USB adapter VER. B1 uses Ralink. All I have been able to find is VER. A1. Even the B1 needs a hack to the string for the extension to load. I did some experiment on older Macs: please have a look at: homepage.mac.com/bengi You'll learn something on WiFi PC cards, including a link to a great site, and how to flash a 40 bit wep (silver) card to 128 bit wep (gold)!
