You can download the User Manual from there which gives good
instructions on
the hard drive removal.

There are also the service manuals floating around on the interenet,
google
for apple manuals and you should come across these (the service
manuals
sites change frequently since Apple does not like to have these out
there).

The User Manual should be sufficient for what you are attempting.

Remove the battery and CD Rom. Inside these compartments are 2 latches.
I believe you pull them toward you. (It's been a wile). These are on
the inside top
of the case that houses the track pad. The keyboard should pop up a
tinny bit.Then
just remove it (the keyboard) and your good to go.
Also, you could search Google with Wallstreet hard drive removal. I
believe thats
how I found out.

Re: Wallstreet question

2004-02-21 Thread Susan Platter
My Wallstreet has 256MB RAM and runs Jaguar 10.2.8 quite
satisfactorily. It came with OS 9 installed, but no disks. It had a 6GB
drive when I bought it; I believe the original was 2 or 3? The first
Jaguar installation was from a Family Pack, which had three licences
remaining. We then updated it to 10.2.8 from a stored file and later
installed OS 9.2.2 on the same drive.

flowchart n.: [techspeak] An archaic form of visual control-flow
specification employing arrows and 'speech balloons' of various shapes.
Hackers never use flowcharts, consider them extremely silly, and associate
them with COBOL programmers, card wallopers, and other lower forms of life.
This attitude follows from the observations that flowcharts (at least from a
hacker's point of view) are no easier to read than code, are less precise,
and tend to fall out of sync with the code (so that they either obfuscate it
rather than explaining it, or require extra maintenance effort that doesn't
improve the code). See also PDL, sense 1.

Not at all. However, if you have installed any after-market memory, then it
may be a problem. Some users reported having problem with additional memory
when trying to install 10.2, while 10.1 was fine. I would suggest that you
put back the original memory and run the installer again. Once it is
installed, you can try to put back the memory you added.

I'm not sure. Are you trying to run it off the battery or booting it with AC

Any 12.1 screen from a Wallstreet should work no matter the manufacture

Well, yes and no. In September of 1998 they revamped the line with
only the 14 screen, but in October, they released a Limited Edition
model with a 12 screen. I know because I bought one and I'm typing on
