Re: iBook DVD Player question
Laurent, My wife has a 800mhz, G4, 12 10.3.x iBook , her's will play DVDs full screen. Mike My daughter has a 1GHz G4, 12 iBook with the combo drive. She is running OS X of course. I just realized something odd: when she watches a movie in DVD Player, even if she chooses Full screen, the background gets black but the picture stays about half the screen. Is this normal for that model? I've tried everything I could think of, the image never extends to the width or height of the screen. How can that be? -Laurent. -- G-Books is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and... Re: iBook DVD Player question
It depends if the movie was made for TV or the silver screen. If it was made for the silver screen then to get the whole width you will get black on the top bottom because the height width ratio don't match.
