Re: Wallstreet and CDRW module
Ian, I wish it were that easy. I have that driver and have tried various combinations with various authoring drivers left out as per the support file at mce but no joy. My PB is the Wallstreet version, earlier than yours and my authoring support ext is 1.1.7. A later version 1.1.9 recommended by mce only supports PB with native USB like yours. It's a mystery, Toast knows the drive is there by won't talk to a disc. Wallstreet and CDRW module
I recently bought a used MCE Xcarét Pro module on eBay. When I plug it into the slot though, I get a message reading This disc needs to be prepared for burning. Do you want to prepare this disc? The usual option to eject or format allows me to eject. Of course there's no disc in the drive. With the disc drawer open, I can continue to use the Mac. Re: Wallstreet and CDRW module
Hi everybody! My first post, Yay! Bob, I'm assuming your using a Pismo 'book. I have the MCE Xcaret Pro in mine (under X10.2.2) and needed to install a driver for it to work properly. Otherwise I received odd requests from iTunes under X much like what you are experiencing from burn in 9. Everything you need is at powerbook1.com's web site (and/or MCEtech.com) I really love mine. -Ian On Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at 10:21 PM, Robert Bryce wrote: I recently bought a used MCE Xcarét Pro module on eBay.
