Re: [Audyssey] psp and a couple of questions

2008-11-28 Thread constantine (on laptop)
Well, since that's just about piracy - but not really - its sort of like
asking how can I put a mod chip in my saturn or dreamcast (sorry, I'm old
school). In other words, even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you, because if
something went wrong, your warranty is gone and I couldn't and wouldn't be
held responsible.

The most I've ever done to a system is re-aligned some lenses and cleaned
out the inside. I also put a language switch in a sega cd. This of course
was done with sited help. I opened up my gamecube a few months back. The
warranty on these older systems is gone already. It wasn't reading discs
right. I had to turn a screw about 5 degrees. This screw was very, very hard
to find. The slightest touch to the wrong component in there would have
fried the system. I was careful not to touch anything. But trust me, I
couldn't explain it.

These are just some examples of what modifying systems does. This of course
is hardware. On the psp it would be software based, but think of it as the
same thing - you could screw up the psp firmware, or brick your psp.

Sorry for the lengthy response

Hi

You can't text message on the psp.
You also can't listen to satilite radio. You can listen to internet radio
but that's not accessible to us.
You can't put UMD games on a memory stick. You can save games to it - spots
in games, that is - but not the entire game. That's what the UMD discs are
for. You can download some play station demmos and psp demmos and such to
the memory stick, I'm not sure how but I don't imagine it being too hard. It
might be hard to know what does what in each demmo because there won't be
information readily available on it.

Re: [Audyssey] Test

2008-11-28 Thread Thomas Ward

Hi Jose,
Your subscription is fine. Remember the guidelines clearly state that
the first post to this list must b approved by the list owner or list
moderator. So if you unsubscribe and resubscribe for whatever reason the
next time you post an e-mail to the list Raul, Kevin, or I must approve
it before it will go to the main list. So if you don't see your posts
going through there is a good chanse mailman sees you are a first time
poster and it is routed to one of the mods for approval. Future posts
after that should be fine unless the person in question was put on
moderated status which you are not.

Cheers!

While mildly off topic, I agree with you, concerning many of the
vehicles. People create unrealistic cars. I mean absolutely no
offense, but if the fastest in-game car has a top speed of like 26000
and it's really fast, it makes no sense for a standard street car to
have a top speed of like 4. All cars have this rediculously high
stearing ability and don't get worse with speed. I love some of the
sound effects that people have found, but the vhc files they put to
them are ... well, that's just my personal opinion...

Hi,

I just wanted to set up Mushclient again on my new laptop. I tried to
download the Jaws plugin for Mushclient from Randylaptop.com, but it says
that the site is not available or something simular.
Can someone please send me the plugin? Or is there another place where I
can download it?

Help is much appreciated, I really would like to start mudding again.

Thanks in advance for your help and best regards

hmm that would rock.
Especially the computer ones, especially if the cars can be picked by the
system from the custom list.
Saying that, I have no idea how one races the fun racer as its just to fast for
anything but a straight track.
Also you really can't race that car.

[Audyssey] Top Speed 2.1 suggestions/ideas.

2008-11-28 Thread Dakotah Rickard
hi list.

I think that the following suggestions/ideas would be useful. They
would also allow for lots of customizations.

Here they are.

1. Create a section within the options menu called "allowed vehicles"
or something. In this section, create several checkbox-style listings
of every available vehicle. From here, players can uncheck or check
different vehicles, customizing the list from which the game could
draw it's selection. For example, the second default motorcycle
crashes very often on tracks with hard or hairpin turns. I'd like the
option to tell the game not to use this vehicle. Plus, I like the
Street Racer. I would like it if this vehicle could be selected.

2. In the same vein, I'd like to see a "Custom Race" option, in which
you can choose the vehicles for up to the eight player limit. This
would enable you total control over who you're racing with and how
many you're racing against. The difficulty setting would apply to all
other options, but not this one.

3. I'd like the option to fill the empty spots in an internet game
with computer players, if so desired. This could either be random or
custom.

4. Totally random, slightly pointless. I'd like to be able to set up a
strictly computer race and spectate, switching between the cars with
numbers 1 through 8 or however many players.

As far as I know, you must play the game for more than 5 minutes and have at

Hey,

I can tell you, we are working on it. Until it's fixed, make sure you
are running the installer as an administrator, or install the game
without the ts2 utility pack, what's using the dll for packaging
