Okay, I was looking at the VIP MUD, and it only went to VISTA...I'm

learn much more about my computer, and I have learned most of what
little I know now from installing and using Entombed...And OT, I have
a trivia gmae I downloaded from Kitchin sink, and Jim said I should
check my X86 programs and move them to somewhere else on this computer
since it's W7, 64...How do I find the X86 programs and how do I move
them?...Thanks for all of the info I have received and will continue
to receive in the future...Hope everyone had a great holliday, and I'm
downloading VIP tommorrow afternoon, so keep your fingers crossed for
me...(Smile)

Re: [Audyssey] audiogames.net forum/rss feed/keepingup-to-dateontopics

2013-01-02 Thread dark

Hi john.

to subscribe to a topic and get things E-mailed to you you do indeed need to
be a member of the forum since things are mailed to the address you
register with.

With the rss however, are you subscribing with the topic rss on the
individual page of the topic or the main rss for the room of the forum? the
main forum rss just tells you about recently posted topics I think.

in general I'd just recommend the forum subscription option, or better still
simply just being a member.

Hello, Sascha.
I really enjoy playing this new game!
I enjoy the sidescrolling maze concept that you got in the game.
I also like that you don't know how many doors it takes to leave each
level when you play a new game.
I would love to see this game have enemies and end level bosses, and
keys to unlock different doors.

However for the most part I will be playing this game over and over again.
Thanks for developing this game!

need the board in front of me in one form or another, but then again i

However, I do wonder if touchscreens could help with this to an extent,
since you'd still get positional info as you moved your fingers around

speech one part of the board.

Of course this is where a full on tactile display which showed the hole

Hi,

Those who are on the audiogames forum may know about my first real thing,
of which, a new version has been released now.

For those who do not know about this game, heres a short describtion.

Find the dor is a little game were you have to walk around searching for a
dor which you hear from the left or right. You'll get items along the way.
When you found the dor, you need to go through. Do this by pressing enter.
The game has 3 levels which are basically short but may become quite long
due to items which increase the dor amound for the current level.

This is a fun game to play around with. You can download it at
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/92531509/ftdsetup.exe
Feetback is welcome!

Thanks for reading and downloading!

a small thin dagger

[Audyssey] audiogames.net forum/rss feed/keeping up-to-date on topics

2013-01-02 Thread john

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I'm wondering
if there's any way to keep up on a specific topic on
audiogames.net without actually going to the sight. I've tried
the rss feed, and while I seem to be getting messages, the vast
majority of them don't show up in my mail client. This
unfortunately is making it rather hard for me to keep an eye on
updates to the swamp campaign creator, and I'd really like to
find a more stable way.

Thanks,
John.

[Audyssey] speech versus fingers

2013-01-02 Thread Charles Rivard
The newest game from Liam is a lot of fun. I also have a small game that is a
metal framework with metal tiles in it that works the same way using the 4 by 4
grid. For me, it is much easier to work because I can feel the tiles in their
arrangement quickly and all at once rather than having to continuously using
arrow keys to see one tile at a time. This is in no way a complaint about
Liam's game, but merely an observation. I have the same game on my iPhone and
have the same observation.

Re: [Audyssey] The first Bokurano Daiboukenn game.

2013-01-02 Thread Shadow Dragon
There were initially plans to translate both BK1 and 2, story and all, into
english. As far as I know, they've been scrapped because the developer
doesn't have a good enough grasp of english to translate the storyline of
either game. There was a project I was involved in for BK2 where we
attempted to use google translate to finish up the storyline, but it proved
to be to difficult without a working knowledge of japanese, so all we ended
up doing was the menues, items and weapons and most of the monsters. I
believe most of the shop texts are translated as well, but can't remember.
This is probably as far as it will ever get unless someone who actually
knows japanese very well gets involved in the project and is willing to put
in the time and effort to translate the entire storyline. And I don't know
that BK1 will ever be translated at all, probably not.

Google translate does work to play any of the japanese games though, as long
as you're willing to put in the time and patience, the game outputs text to
the clipboard and you can make sense of a lot of poorly translated phrases.
I've beaten all of the japanese RPG's that have been released so far using
this method, including all 10 of Morokuma's RPG's, BK 1 and 2, MM's Shadow
Line, fighting cores, Geki Ransen and a game called ArkWar. I've also made
it pretty far in Brave of Cloudia, and though the plots don't always
translate well, the game mechanics are understandable and you can generally
get at least a basic idea of what's going on in the storyline. So I
recommend that if anyone wants to play japanese games, use google translate
and put in the effort, don't wait for translations that will probably never
come or you'll just miss out.

[Audyssey] My game Find the dor

2013-01-02 Thread Sascha Panevin

Hi,

Those who are on the audiogames forum may know about my first real
thing, of which, a new version has been released now.

For those who do not know about this game, heres a short describtion.

Find the dor is a little game were you have to walk around searching for
a dor which you hear from the left or right. You'll get items along the way.
When you found the dor, you need to go through. Do this by pressing
enter. The game has 3 levels which are basically short but may become
quite long due to items which increase the dor amound for the current level.

This is a fun game to play around with. You can download it at
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/92531509/ftdsetup.exe
Feetback is welcome!

Thanks for reading and downloading!
Greetings,
Sascha

very slow and lags a lot. Any suggestions as how I could go about doing
this? THe strange thing is that it does this both on my laptop and on my

Thanks!

Have you contacted the possible source of the problem; RS Games?

Subject: [Audyssey] problem with the rs games client

Hi.
I know it has been a long time sense I have posted here, but I have a
problem with the rs games client.

I can install it, but when I launch the client, I get the following error
---
rsg.exe - Bad Image
---
The application or DLL C:\Program Files\RS Games
Client\sound_lib\lib\x86\basswma.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please
check this against your installation diskette.

---
OK
---
I'm not even running a 64 bit system, so I have no idea why it is saying
x86 in that error. I've tried asking on audiogames.net, but have not goten
a response. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and happy new
year to all.

It 86 is a Windows 7 thing. Try to reinstall, it looks like a
problem with the sound library.
