Get this fun game produced by Kid Friendly Software. As far as I know, it’s
the first pool game that a blind person can play, and it is for iDevices.
Choose from different tables and games such as eight ball, fifteen ball, nine
ball, and so on. Locate the ball you want to sink and the pocket you want to
sink it into, then swipe to shoot. Be careful. Don’t scratch! Totally
Voice-Over friendly and loads of fun. Get it from the app store, now, and be
sure to use thi in-app purchases so the fun won’t stop.

If you think you're finished, you! really! are! finished!!

Sounds good, I like Snooker and have done since I was a kid, used to look at
the TV screen to see the green cue and coloured balls. Just an FYI, I do have
enough vision to see contrasts, basic colours and shadows although can’t
identify the shadow. This is defined as “light perception”.

Re: [Audyssey] Mush-Z output issue

2016-04-29 Thread Jesse Gaona
Hi, not sure what the problem is. Mush-Z runs well on my desktop,
running Windows 10 with JAWS 17, but for some reason I can't figure
out why the incoming text will not be read by JAWS on my laptop. I'm
running Windows 7 with JAWS 17 on my laptop. The text is read when I
switch over to the output window with ctrl + tab and scroll with the
arrows, but it is not read when it is incoming. I have uninstalled and
reinstall, but to no success. I do have the folder in my documents,
but that is where I installed Mush-Z on my desktop. I have also ran
the update, but it says all files are up-to-date. I have checked JAWS
settings as well, but did not find any issues with that either. Hmm...
this has me scratching my head.

Re: [Audyssey] Anyone playing avalon?

2016-04-29 Thread dark

Hi Ian.

Well I tried mage and did fight something, however when I suggested trying
knight I was told that sinse I had no sword it'd be a bit pointless.

I'll try asking again, but if I don't find anything, I might just try
loremaster as they're apparently sort of jacks of all trades.

All the best,

DArk.

Likewise I've heard something about crafting and runes and training recruits
and goodness knows how much else, but again how you actually go about doing
these things I'm not sure, even the selection command to try out profession
sets for a bit isn't that helpful sinse it just dumps you off a bunch of
skills and doesn't really relate to what you do with them (as I said I had
to have another mage help me find an orc to fight).

All the best,

Dark.

Re: [Audyssey] Anyone playing avalon?

2016-04-29 Thread Ian McNamara
Hi Dark, apparently from the advice I got in the game Knight and animists are
the best things to play as a blind player as well as ranger as there is less
micromanagement involved. when I am able to get a windows computer i am aiming
to start playing again myself.

[Audyssey] Anyone playing avalon?

2016-04-29 Thread dark
Hi.

I'm trying out avalon a little more properly (well when not destracted by
altereon).

I've finished the novice bit, however now I need to choose a profession and
don't really know which to choose. Part of the problem is the game is a bit
impenitrable.

I know there is warfare and fighting of other players for those who want. There
are apparently quests, but where or how to find them is a bit of a pest sinse
you only get vague hints.
I know there is lots of crafting and farming, though again I'm not sure on that
one.

So, any advice?

I've tried out the mage profession with the selection ability to choose a
temporary profession eship. I don't think mage is for me sinse it's a lot of
micro management, but also I'm not overly sure what mages do as opposed to
other professions either, (I probably need to streight out try knight to see
how combat works).

So, instead of bugging players in the game, any help would be appreciated.

All the best,

Dark.
