2017-02-07 Thread Shaun Everiss

Wow john its good to see someone attempt this again.
The last time I attempted anything was back in my 20s where I had more
time and less responsibility.
Now I still have about the same amount of time, a little more
responsibility and other things.
Most of the time I always have something on and on the odd times I don't
I junst want to relax knowing that the next day it will be back to waht
it usually is.

Re: [Audyssey] Eurofly German Translation

2017-02-07 Thread Shaun Everiss

No, but you should contact the developer about it.
There are guides for german towers and dispatchers, somewhere on the
forum in english.

If you can translate those in german thats part of it.
Once thats done and you have a few dispatchers and the like in german well.
I am unsure how to make a german pack but all that is needed are german
stuards or stuardesses and dispatchers both male and female, as well as
the pack itself.

The game is made to be modded.
If you go to the eurofly topic on the audiogames forum the dev has his
email address, just ask him for the translation.

I know eurofly has a facebook and a twitter account but not sure.
If you contact the dev directly he is more than happy to previde the
guides to you.
Ofcause you would have to do the translations yourself from english or
whatever to your language then send data back.

Re: [Audyssey] I am remembering Thomas ward

2017-02-07 Thread john
Hi Richard,
There wasn't much in the way of details.
All we really knew (from Tom himself) was that he was having some severe
medical problems.
The next thing we heard from was his (many said inaccurate and impersonal)
obituary.
It really was a tragedy. I didn't know Thomas very well myself, but those on
the list who did may be able to tell you a little more.

Re: [Audyssey] I am remembering Thomas ward

2017-02-07 Thread Shaun Everiss

The domain was for renewel for quite a while.
Then it wasn't at all.
Even a couple months before it went, I powered the site just to see what
happened.
According to the site last september the paypal was still active and you
could still buy usagames stuff.

You could download things and view old news.
I am unsure who has copywrite access or whatever but obviously no one
related to tom cares enough to keep his company active.

There were never any updates on his site.
The last message we got from him was a year or so before he went and the
sit wasn't updated even then.
Saying that, he was on the audiogames forum, its unlikely much is left,
but if he had a twitter, chances are thats still up, those never close
down, ever.
Your digital ghost will continue to be online never changing till the
internet's own vulchers make a meal of it and turn it into another bot farm.

Re: [Audyssey] I am remembering Thomas ward

2017-02-07 Thread Shaun Everiss

I agree.
The only thing of tom's I ever had was the final conflict 1 game.
I do wander at a later date if we ever get a chance if we could see what
they were working on before they went off to the core.

I do wander if there were stuff not finished or close to.
I know tom was close to getting final conflict 2 out.
And his engine.
I know jim was getting close to a few other things.
On a more personal note I do wander what happened in the end to mota, or
rather those that ordered the transfered alchemy titles, it probably
goes without saying they will never get their games or money back now.
I know that it is probably not worth it but for those that have lost, it
still remains unresolved.

Almost straight he went, people were asking.
They were told to stop whining and to go f**ck themselves but the
question still remains unresolved and probably will be for ever more.
