Hi, I remember trying the free version of Smack Me, and couldn't get it to work at all. I mean I could bring up the app, but that was about it. Voiceover wouldn't read anything, and touching parts of the screen just took me into different screens, which were also unreadable. I ended up going for Bop It. Thanks. Try putting your device in airplain mode and starting the game. It will run! When done take your device out of airplain mode. Hey, Paul. The same way you do the iPad and iPod. Highlight a button and double tap and hold with two fingures and then the label feature will come up. Hey, Kelly. Yes there are other bopit style games that are very accessible. The bopit game from EA sports is one of them. I have the smack me game and I will tell you how to get the game to work. First you should label the buttons on the main screen. The buttons are layout like this, the top button is the easy button, the button below that is the medium button, the button below that is the hard button, the button below that is the two players button, and the last button is the about button. To start the game highlight one of the difficulty and turn off voice over and then tap the screen to start the game. After you have finish whether you win or lose turn voice over back on to put in your name and make other selections. [Audyssey] Smack Me and Similar Games
Hi, I know there are quite a few games for iOS devices that are similar to Bopit, such as Smack Me, Zany Touch, etc. I just tried the free version of Smack Me, but can't get it to work. I can bring it up, but no matter what button I press, I can't get started playing. Either I get a "your request couldn't be completed" message, or I'm taken to the App Store to buy some other apps from the developer. I got so frustrated I deleted the thing. Does anyone know if any of the other Bopit-style games have usable interfaces with labeled buttons? Thanks.
