They have to compete against Ole Miss, now with Houston Nutt, as well as a lot of out-of-state programs. Mississippi State is probably the last choice of a lot of in-state athletes. The person who I actually thought handled this type of move well was Stoops. IIRC, the year before he went to Oklahoma, he was courted by his alma mater, Iowa, but decided to spend another year at UF, and wait for a better opportunity. I actually have some mixed feelings on him staying until after the game. I am not sure that I would give him that opportunity. If he stays, assuming that he is human like the rest of us, he will be time-sharing at best. He has to pack, move, and more importantly for him and Mississippi State, he has to recruit! There are not enough hours in a day for him to do these things, much less for him to game plan. Urban doesn't need distractions.
