Hey Mohan! Be there between 530 and 6 and u would be able to get to the groups from one of the below: - Some one will be wearing a BLACK gb cap and just ask "gb" ( the more unique cock cap is out of circulation for now :p ) - There will be a group of people for sure on the tables outside - and though none of them normally wear pink or flowery shirts (to the meet ) or hoot n pinch butts of passerbys (again during the meet only) they are not all that easy to miss if you are looking for a group catch up place, as the chance of that particualr CCD having any another grp of people has not occured in our last 3 years. - Lastly if you still havent found them or decided whether they are the ones, or how you should approach them, Walk around the place, eye the guys, do a catwalk and be damn sure we will come and ask u "gb?" :-D Come over, smile, say a hi to the one next and the chances are you wont regret that breath Cheers, Manoj --- On Fri, 1/4/11, Mohan Babar wrote: From: Mohan Babar Subject: Re: g_b The GayBombay Sunday Meet at THANE on 03 April 2011To: gay_bombay@yahoogroups.comDate: Friday, 1 April, 2011, 9:54 AM Name of the person to be contact at Coffee day ??--- On Wed, 30/3/11, GayBombay Events wrote: From: GayBombay Events Subject: g_b The GayBombay Sunday Meet at THANE on 03 April 2011To: airoli_mum...@yahoogroups.co.in, bombay_gayindiansmeetingpo...@yahoogroups.com, bombay-d...@yahoogroups.com, bombaygaydoct...@yahoogroups.com, bombaygay...@yahoogroups.co.uk, bombaylesbi...@yahoogroups.com, bom...@yahoogroups.com, cool_gays_bom...@yahoogroups.com, funkyguy_mumbai_gay_n_bisexual_conn...@yahoogroups.com, gay_bombay@yahoogroups.comDate: Wednesday, 30 March, 2011, 6:39 AM The GayBombay Sunday Meet at THANE on 03 April 2011 Day & Date:Sunday, 03 April 2011 Time: 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM. Hi Guys:Thanks to all the people who responded to my posting. I was worried thinking this may not be seen as positive. Mike that is indeed a heartfelt post by you. I, for one, am touched that you bothered to post at all. These days, thanks to the pioneering work done by the GB group and others, I tend to forget how things would have been had there been no gay movement in India. Yes, some of us do crib and carp and bitch at these events but they are mostly lighthearted (or so I would lead myself to believe!). Postings such as yours make me realize that I should be thankful for each one of these events. Be it picnics, a meets, film fests or GB parties. Like you I had never had all of this in my teen-hood. And I wish that I had been born in the 1990s. Yet, it is the past lack that makes me appreciate the gay movement all the more today. I would never have dreamed that the final hearing of the IPC 377 would be scheduled during my lifetime. But miracles do happen. But they have to be made to happen "by men, while God is busy elsewhere".
