James,
You should also deserve to have the award and applause.

I know somebody may say the original tomcat code suck, but ant doesn't!!

Thanks James ;-)

all +1.

But Kevin's attitude and courage should be highly appreciated, although I
believe it would not work... But, at the end of the day, he should learn
(and earn) something.

Actually, I don't care what language the software was written by. All the
users' need is a decent, working software, but not programming language.
So, please get back to work, and write software that works.

If java was dead, use C# then. Or C, C++ or perl. Please do not fall in
love with any technology, its dangerous... I must warn you.

(But currently I fall in love with my iBook...)

When seeing people flame each other, they act like a child. But when they
are talking about things technically, they are very professional.

So I love this place. Watching this is a lot of fun.. ;-)

Never mind, if people want to flame with jon, just go for it. But at the
end of the day, they will learn *a lot* ;-)

I'd seen this before, in jserv, tomcat-dev and now general list, people had
flamed with jon and still stayed in the list is now getting more mature(and
so does jon), and still willing to contribute to the community with their
technical excellence.

I got this impression is that a few months ago, while jon was on a flame
with another guy, one contributor/committer humorously stated jon was "still
a pain in the *ss". That contributor/committer had a endless flame with jon
before (may be almost a year before?). But at that moment, I felt that the
two guys seems to have certain respect with each other ;-)

And I would say, seeing a true story like this, it was a great joy.

Hey man, Coccon 1.8 uses Turbine's connection poll. The package name is
turbine-pool.jar. Just extract the jar from the distribution and use it.
And here is the documentation:
