Which I find rather strange, by default it has always been enabled for this card (ATI Rage 128). [gentoo-user] xscreensaver GLX issue
Hi! I keep getting this from xscreensaver: Xlib: extension GLX missing on display :0.0. atunnel: display :0.0 does not support the GLX extension. This happens on several screensavers on a machine where they used to work just fine before (on other dists that is). Any ideas? Hi, I just saw something weird, when xscreensaver was actieve, my daughter entered the root password (just lucky) in combination with my username and my screen was unlocked !!! I tough only the right combination of username and password will unlock te screen? XScreensaver always accepts the root password regardless of who is logged in so that root can always access the machine.
