Hi Juan!

You will be welcome to collaborate with us ;-)

Just subscribe and write to team's mailing list (gnome-es-l...@gnome.org)
or write me directly and will talk about it.

Many thanks!

Well that's a question for the es team but generally yes, join the d-l team (
https://l10n.gnome.org/teams/es/) and start making submissions (remember to
check team policies etc)

Welcome aboard! :-)

You are right it was rude, I was under the wrong impression of how the
string break actually works and did not take the time to learn about.
I thought it was a way to let translators know there were going to be
untranslated "broken" strings, but now that you mention it does make more
sense to introduce the break in the point release.
I am sorry I had to learn the hard way and cause other people trouble.

I am going to try to get more involved in the process in the future so this
does not happen again.
Would it be ok if I start helping with the spanish translation?

thanks

Your reminder came in less than 9 hours after the initial request.
Even though the choice of words makes it seem very polite, it was
actually quite rude and unnecessary. The i18n team processes request
in due time and if one of them doesn’t get a response, maybe it just
means the team is not convinced it should get greenlit. So please let
the team do their job, and refrain from sending such messages in the
future.

Cheers.
