[google-appengine] Problems with deploying

2013-02-02 Thread Jesús Espejo
Hello,

Is anyone experimenting issues uploading applications to GAE? I cannot do
it, it remains in the exponential back-off algorithm in 60 seconds
"forever"... Also i have problems launching backends:

Error: Server ErrorThe service you requested is not available yet.

Please try again in 30 seconds.

My app is for Python.

Thanks in advance,

Jesús.

Google has not acknowledged this as an issue. In fact, the system dashboard
(http://code.google.com/status/appengine) shows that everything is 'normal'

This is really frustrating to have no feedback from Google on such an
important issue.

Re: [google-appengine] Re: Problems with deploying

2013-02-02 Thread Saurabh Gupta
Do you know if premiere accounts get better uptime/service?

I'm a paid app, but not a premiere app (not paying the $500/month) , so just
wondering if there is a difference in the underlying uptime/ availability etc.
in paid versus premiere.

Thanks

[google-appengine] Deployment fails: Version still not ready to serve, aborting.

2013-02-02 Thread André Lahs
My deployment gets stuck in a "Checking if deployment succeeded." which
terminates with "Version still not ready to serve, aborting."

Running on appengine for python 2.7...

Another weird thing is that it shows no running instances for the actual
deployed version (1 - both frontend and backend) in the admin dashboard -
but when I switch to "All Versions" it shows one running instance that
appears to be stale - I can't shut it down ("The instance you attempted to
shut down does not exist.")

Does anyone experience the same problem? Any suggestions how to solve or
investigate?

2013-02-02 Thread André Lahs
I am currently unable to deploy to appengine python. I get stuck in a

Does anyone have the same problems or suggestions how to solve or at least

Another weird thing is that my dashboard shows 0 running instances although
I can access the app...

[google-appengine] Re: Cannot deploy app

2013-02-02 Thread Juha Koskela
I have similar problem. And looks like the first report about similar
problem here was about 10 hours ago. I also noticed the admin console
didn't show any version as default version any more, and the admin console
shows zero instances for all deployed versions of my app. My app is serving
the version which was default yesterday, no matter what I change in the
admin console (and while it's serving requests, the admin console shows
zero instances running).

I've tried uploading a new version, the existing default version, another
existing version, and deleting a version. None of these help.

[google-appengine] Anyone using EU-datacenter option outside Premier Accounts?

2013-02-02 Thread Juha Koskela
Hi,

I signed up for the "Google App Engine is extending its European offering
to non-premier customers" - offering some time ago. Got an email earlier
this week: "Based on the feedback that you provided, we've enabled
this support for your account."

Is anyone using this already? I can't find the Location option anywhere and
the documentation (in the Uploading Your Application -section) referes only
to premier accounts. I've tried creating a new app (no location option
available while creating), enabling billing, and going through all possible
settings. If you're using the EU datacenter with the "extended european
offering", how did you get started?

thanks!

your request.

message and the query that cause

Any help getting it running again would be much apprecieated.
