Re: [Google Maps API v3] Re: Where are the ridefinder marker icons?
Hi all, Good news: I've worked hard to reinstate these icons! They now live over on maps.gstatic.com/mapfiles/ridefinder-images Example: http://maps.gstatic.com/mapfiles/ridefinder-images/mm_20_red.png Even better news: I've just added redirects from the old location to the new one, so existing maps should continue to function. I still do recommend you directly link to the new ones, it will save a 301 redirect for your users (and hence, be faster). You should see the redirects come alive within the next hour or so. Hi >From http://code.google.com/labs/ " At Google, we love to expirement with new ideas. In Google Code Labs, you'll find developer products that are experimental. Some of these will one day graduate out of labs, others may remain experimental or even be shut down. That's what a lab is for. Likewise, graduating from Google Code Labs is a big step that indicates our long- term commitment to that product. [Google Maps API v3] Re: Where are the ridefinder marker icons?
Does nobody from Google feel responsible to answer this question? This is a v2 *and* a v3 issue because the icons have surely been embedded in either of these maps - and are now showing no icons. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group.
