Somewhat getting closer.
Now the error is:

Perhaps a problem of my compilation?

[GRASS-user] connecting to wms server

2010-06-11 Thread Manuel Seeger

Hi,
I am trying to connect to wms servers in Spain. Unfortunately it does
not work!

It delivers the following:
ERROR: Unable to get capabilities:
http://ovc.catastro.meh.es/Cartografia/WMS/ServidorWMS.aspx?REQUEST=GetCapabilitiesSERVICE=WMS?service=WMSrequest=GetCapabilitiesversion=1.1.1

I have the same problem with all the servers I try to connect.
With QGIS it works fine...
I am using GRASS 7 on UBUNTU.

Any hint?

2010-06-11 Thread Manuel Seeger

Hi Hamish,
thanks for the first hint, now it loads the list of available data.
Nevertheless, it still does not import the requested data.
I use the wxPython frontend command, there I get:
r.in.wms
mapserver=http://icvmapas.cetesi.gva.es/wms?SERVICE=WMSVERSION=1.1.1REQUEST=GetCapabilities
layers=mdt output=mdt

Calculating tiles...
Done: requesting 1 tiles

recognised as a supported file format.
ERROR: gdalwarp failed
(Fri Jun 11 19:13:51 2010) Command finished (0
sec)

when typing directly r.in.wms another frontend option opens, where I can
choose the format. Coosing jpeg the following occurs:
r.in.wms -a output=mdt
mapserver=http://icvmapas.cetesi.gva.es/wms?SERVICE=WMSVERSION=1.1.1REQUEST=GetCapabilities
layers=mdt srs=EPSG:23030 format=jpeg maxcols=1024 maxrows=1024

Hope you can find more little things, by now I am approximating!

Thanks a lot!

Hi Manuel!

What are the configuration parameters you use? Try to include the
following:

--with-freetype=yes
--with-freetype-includes=/usr/include/freetype2/

and (re-)compile.

[GRASS-user] i. pca and i.cca

2008-12-15 Thread Manuel Seeger

Hello,
I am using i.pca and i.cca for terrain analysis.
As I want to understand the influence of each of the input parameters, I
need some information of the output.
The eigenvector-info (r.info map=my.pca.map) gives the weight of each of
the input maps composing the new pca map.

But where get I the eigenvalue of each of the of the principal components?

Afterwards I run i.cca on them, for better separability of distinct
areas. I have the correlation matrix of the pca, but how do I get the
information on the cca?

I hope I explained myself...

Best regards

Manuel

[GRASS-user] wxpython problems

2008-03-17 Thread Dr. Manuel Seeger

Hello all,
I just downloaded the recent 6.3.svn.
There I wanted to start using the wxpython-gui.
After make I get the following message:

Errors in:
/home/seeger/grass_trunk/gui/wxpython/vdigit
--
In case of errors please change into the directory with error and run
'make'.

If you get multiple errors, you need to deal with them in the order they
appear in the error log. If you get an error building a library, you will
also get errors from anything which uses the library.

I follow the instructions, and then:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgdi
collect2: ld gab 1 als Ende-Status zurück
make: *** [_grass6_wxvdigit.so] Fehler 1

What can I do?
I would like to test it!

Best regards
Manuel

[GRASS-user] bug in v.db.renamecol

2008-02-07 Thread Dr. Manuel Seeger

Hello all,
I found a small bug in v.db.renamecol

working on dbf- database driver, renaming a column, if (like I made) you
try to use a column name greater than 10 characters length, then it
gives an error warning, and creates a column with the new name (cut at
the end to fit 10 char), but does not fill in the column values, and(!)
deletes the old column.

This is: column data is lost!

Cheers
