Re: MonkeyGTD on Symbian (S60 Nokia N97) - saving changes not working

2010-02-07 Thread Andy Pastuszak
Does Firefox Mobile work on that phone? That might work. I know it
works on the N900 (Firefox Mobile that is. Not sure about MonkeyGTD.)

 Hi, same problem here.

MonkeyGTD on my N97, tiddlysaver.jar in the same directory. Path
contains no bad letters. Both Opera Mobile and Symbian Browser do
 not work.

No solution found afer 3 days of googling :-(

 Any hints appreciated!!

Re: Saving changes

2009-10-23 Thread Simon Baird

I don't think there is a good solution other than be very careful.
Syncing is something that MonkeyGTD is pretty weak at.

I tend to work with a downloaded Tiddlyspot site. You get the
advantages of instant local saves and backups and can use upload to
Tiddlyspot as a 'sync to the cloud' type operation. But you still need
to be careful you don't clobber things by uploading an out of date
file to Tiddlyspot.

I have heard of people using DropBox though for syncing TiddlyWikis.
Perhaps that is worth a try.

Simon.

Because I'm using this between several machines, and because my job
involves using MANY open windows of my browser doing (sometimes)

kill it), I'd like to make this process more transparent. I know I
 could
run this under a different browser and reduce a lot of the problem,
 but
this is causing me to wonder about the bigger picture.
