Clandestine (Iran) During a research (with no results!) for the Voice of Khmer Krom at 14.00-15.00 from the transmitting station in Vladivostok on 15660 kHz, via DX Tuners in Australia, Canada, USA, Sweden and UK, I noted at 14.25 (DX Tuner Edinburgh 2-UK) that on the frequency it switched on a carrier and at 14.30-14.59 and transmitted RADIO SEDAYE MELLAT-E IRAN. I've also experimented the 'modification' on my 1026 - suggested years ago as a good one for "serious MW DXing" (!?) on a local technical monthly journal - and the result was the *same*! Of course I've immediately re-solded the components previously removed too. BRASIL - After the reception of the August 3rd RN do Brasil - checked almost every morning and some evenings - on 9665 kHz (presumed returned with 250 kW) has no more heard. May be (very!) irregular? RUSSIA - This evening (*Friday* August 19th) at 18.40-19.00 on 6240 kHz I noted Special Radio. Was no more on thursday or they have extended the schedule at other days? USA (non) - This morning (August 19th), VOA Tibetan at 05.00-06.00 on 17770 and 15265 kHz has been heard without chinese jamming! This morning Sept. 4th, @09.00-10.00 UTC, on 11815 kHz I noted that the DRM transmission planned as Virgin Radio from Moosbrunn (Austria) emits a noise completely different from the 'well' known wide-hash and the positive fact is that - with a Degen DE1103 - the frequencies at +-5 kHz were absolutely not interferred. Thank you all for the precious infos. You're right, the non-reception of BBG R. Free Afghanistan was caused by propagation disturbances and in fact today @0700-0720 UTC the station reappeared on 19010 kHz, even if the S-meters of my receivers were blocked on the zero. At the same time it was also very low but clear China R. International on 17490 kHz (usually here S8-9!) and on 13mb some stations had fast peaks. A station unheard this morning was instead Suara Malaysia on 15295 kHz. I think that is not good idea. Radio Studio X (from Momigno - Italy) is on the air on this freq. with about 10Kw...AM stereo. Luca Hello europe, From monday 30th dec 02 in the evening "Laser Hot Hits" 1584 Khz transmitting from Utrecht will be on the air again till first january in the evening. The transmitter power is about 600 watt. Reports are still welcome and confirmed by a QSL card, as told by the station manager Ruud Poeze in a interview.
